Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

if i were some team with a solid o-line then i would take carr and develop him i believe he still has potential and Plummer being a Texan makes sense with Kubiak
Jake Plummer and Charlie Adams reunited I like the sound of that
RIP Darrent It's been one year, Gone but never Forgotten.
detraoit is an interesting idea, but i dont know what we sould get. im suer they wont part with either of the williams, so maybe picks. their 2nd rdr would be nice, but a long shot.
i do know this, shanny almost always gets the better part of a trade so im sure it will be atleast a first day pick, if not a good player.
So far:
FA- Melvin Gordon. Brandon Scherff
1. Kenneth Murray LB; 2. Shenault WR; 2B. Biadazz Center, 3. OT

How about for dt Shaun Rogers. That would be a great trade for us, or maybe for their 2nd or 3rd round pick. Possibly even their 2008 1st round pick. Wishfull thinking. LOL
Broncos Get from Chicago: Tank Johnson
Chicago Recieves from Houston: David Carr
Houston Recieves from Denver: Jake Plummer, Tatum Bell, and a 2nd Round pick
Denver Recieves from Houston: Houstons first round pick
Houston Recieves from Chicago: Chicagos first round pick
wishful thinking i know, but i dont know off the top of my head how the whole point system works
so in all we get
Tank Johnson and a First round pick from Houston
Chicago gets David Carr (a deadly qb when he has a line)
Houston Gets Plummer, Tatum, and a 2nd round pick, and a 1st round pick
or you could even switch it up, take Tatum out of the trade, and throw Thomas Jones in there
i honestly dont think Chicago gets screwed in this trade either...........they had a very solid team this year, and was a consistent QB away from a Super Bowl win

Yeah, i dont know if they would want to spend too much more time "developing" all these recievers plus a new rookie QB, Maybe Carr could get that offense going. I mean Kitna wasnt bad, they just had alot of issues as a team. Think if shanny could get enough to move up into the top 10 or get picks to trade w another team into the top 10, then on top of it all, he gets Kitna as a backup as well! Thats pushing it, but if he did that, everyone would start calling him the "mastermind"
If I were Plummer, I wouldn't want to go to Houston or Jacksonville because those teams suck. Washington has a good offense and weapons that he could do some things with. Even though the interest isn't confirmed yet, you that it is true b/c look how productive he was here. Sure he wasn't very productive in Washington but that was a different system. They asked him to change his running style and Denver's style fits him perfectly. Now to the question of the salary cap. Plummer's contract is pretty big as well and if we throw someone else in on the trade, then we wouldn't be over the cap. We have cap room.
I disagree here. If I were Jake, I would jump at the opportunity to go to Jacksonville. That team barely missed the playoffs because of inconsistency, but dominated when they played well against the top teams in the NFL.
The real problem with that team was QB play and WR play. If he were to go there, I would assume the WR postion would be fixed and he'd be a started for a team with real playoff potential.

so you think that chicago is gonna give up a first rounder and tank johnson for david carr i hope that would happen but i dont see it that is to much to give up for a broken qb

Maybe if we threw in Foster to houston, and then houston gave a second or third to chicago. That would be a monster blockbuster

That's true. jacksonville is a lot better than houston but jacksonville needs to get younger at the WR position and TE. need some playmakers and some one to compliment jones-drew.

Yeah, that would be more realistic. I would like to see Thomas Jones thrown in there and us give up another draft pick b/c he would fit well in our system. if he were to be thrown in there, then tatum would have to be in there also.

that would be a massive blockbuster...then we would have cap room and two firsts to address the d-line and S (nelson and carriker)
