We have fast linebackers. We have arguably the fastest linebacker core in the NFL. Some people have even suggested moving one of them to safety. Safety isn't exactly made for slow players.

He's projected to go pretty high; Mike Mayock has him as the #1 OLB in the draft. Every other projection I've seen has him going anywhere from the late 1st to early 3rd area.

Why are you guys chewing this guy up. Reading Comprehension is obviously not one of yalls strong points. He said we need a fast linebacker that IS strong. Right now we have a fast linebacker in DJ who should be playing weakside. He said a fast lineback that is strong to play the strong side so that we wouldnt compromise our speed at linebacker. I would tend to agree with that theory. I love Ian Gold but DJ should be playing weakside. Hopefully bates can figure it out.
