Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.
--Broncos Country Message Board Staff
The Broncos are reportedly looking at a WR (Ted Ginn JR) in the first round according to the rumor on Orange Mane.
If they cant get him, dont be surprised if they look at Mike Walker, WR, UCF in the 3rd round, they have an early and a late 3rd rounder.
Walker had a 4.35 40 yard dash at the combine which matched Calvin Johnson's output, and we've had a few UCF fans come on these boards praising his game. He could turn out to be a legitimate deep threat for us the way Ahsley Lelie was.
Walker probably has the Broncos interest, and they obviously watch UCF film because they found Marshall last year who looks like he could be a diamond in the rough (if he can keep his off the field act together).
I have cooled on Ginn considerably...but I am a believer in Walker, and would not mind getting him in the third round.
I doubt we take Crosby there. I doubt we take a kicker at all. We have Elam who just came off one of his best years, and we might be keeping two punters. So why would we take a kicker who will just sit on the bench the entire year?
I think drafting Crosby would be a wise choice, because he could serve as a kickoff specialist; until elam retires.

Well for one elam only kicks field goals which is ok because we have a punter that can kick off again, but jason's leg is not as good as it used to be. Crosby gives you great kick offs with little chance of return and threat to score from far out. Jason is not a threat to hit 55 yard field goals anymore!
I am not hating on jason, I just have a feeling Mason is something mikey is thinking about. there has been alot of talk of field position and I just dont think he meant just Todd! Just my 2 cents!
I mean, they sure have a lot of confidence in Sauerbrun don't they? One year deal, completely incentive based thus having no penalty if we cut him, yea that sounds like we trust him completely.
Bringing in Sauerbrun also showed that we aren't completely happy with Ernster.
So keeping 2 punters wouldn't be too out of the question. Cleveland, New England (3), Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and New Orleans do it.
But hey, if you want to talk about Ernster/Sauerbrun, lets take it to a punter thread. I'll happily listen to your snide comments there.
I'm surprised we took Todd back due to his age and risk factor
I would have drafted Baylors P Daniel Sepulveda, although he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right (non-kicking) knee during a pick-up basketball game over the 2006 Easter holiday weekend. He underwent successful surgery April 27 to repair the damage...
Daniel Sepulveda came back and led the nation setting a school single-season record with 66 punts for 3,068 yards (46.48 avg), as eight of his kicks were ruled touchbacks, 20 were downed inside the 20-yard line and 25 others gained at least 50 yards, including seven for 60 yards or longer...
Bears ranked 3rd nationally with a 39.01-net yard average...
Imagine what his punting average would be in Denver

We've already gone over this numerous times in other threads together. Your man crush on Ernster is obvious.
I'm assuming you are a fan of UCF or see some of their games.....
In your own opinion, what is the difference between Walker and Marshall, in both their last year at UCF, in how they played?
Marshall is bigger and more physical. Walker is more explosive. Walker also has better hands... but that isnt a knock on Marshall. Walker's hands are just glue...
Marshall is a possession WR... Walker is a flanker...
They were sick when opposite of each other... complimented each other perfect...
I'm tellin ya guys.... why dont we just draft Mike Walker and Justin Medlock. Medlock is great kicker, although his hangtime on kickoffs arent great.... he nails 55 yarders with ease. He should still be there in the 6th or 7th round. This is a guy that shouldnt be passed up. Neither of them...
