Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I disagree as well. There's no question Bates will bring an improvement to our D, but in no way are we fine at DE. EE should be a spot rusher at best, same with Dumervil (obviously), and Lang should be there for no more than depth. We dont have the talent there that he had with Taylor and Ogunleye (sp.). DE is a MUST on 1st day
No kidding......
People think that just by getting Bates, that all of the sudden the pass rush is fixed due to his past success.
Should it be better, oh hell yes!
But Bates will need more talent also.
Denver right now doesn't have KGB, Taylor, Ogunleye, etc........type of talent.
Anyway, wouldn't mind Griffin but Im not high on him IMO he dissappeared in big games for Texas; Francis is a reach in the second; Soliai is a fine pick but since we have a space eater (Warren) I would prefer a smaller pass rushing DT.
