If we land Calvin Johnson, our offense will be the best in the NFL for however long we sign Johnson. Johnson will step in and be the #2 WR right away behind Walker; which pushes Marshall to #3 and Smith to #4. Marshall will probably still play ST. Even though I think it might be a little too much to get up that, I'd be willing to do it because we don't need that much on the defense to improve it. By Shanny apparently willing to give up that much tells me that he thinks that we will be ok on the defensive side of the ball. I'm guessing that Bates told him that Dumervil will start at DE (bonus ) and that all we need is depth at DE and a DT. Which means most likely, we will take Marcus Thomas in the 3rd and then a DE who can rush the passer in the later rounds. My guess is that we will take Madison Miller from Indiana State. This kid wowed the scouts at the Purdue Pro Day and his stock has been rising ever since. He would be an excellent fit at DE for us. The only other thing that we would need is a S and we might use our 2 6th rounders and something else to trade up. You never know with Shanny. I wouldn't be surprised if we did this and would be extremely excited to see what our offense could do with all those weapons. I'll tell ya someone else who will be estatic if this happens.....JAY CUTLER! Look out AFC West and the rest of the NFL

I live in DC and I hate the Redskins with passion. To start with I grew up in Colorado Springs from 83-90 (I was 5-12). So needless to say right when I began watching and playing football it was with Elway and the 3 amigos.

Anyways I remember us getting our butts romped in all the superbowls while I lived in CO and I think the Redskins was the worse. Then I got to move to northern virginia and got introduced to humidity.

Back to skins fans. Ever since Snyder has rolled in the team has been spending big money on big names and the skins fans get o so exciting when they do good in the preseason (or just signing big names). You should have heard the fans when they brought Gibbs the savior back. Everyone was saying superbowl that year or the next. The funniest thing ever was picking up Spurrier and watching that failure, then having Schotty for a year and get cut (which personally I think was retarded but o well) to then bring in Gibbs. I think in Gibbs first year they were still paying off Spurrier and Schotty.

Poor poor bastards. They give away draft picks like practice squad players get signed and released.

Either way Ive managed to make most of my friends hate the Broncos because come the end of the season my team is going to the playoffs (or barely missing it) and their team still sucks a$$. I only like skins fans for one purpose, and thats to make fun of them.

They gave us a first round pick, and a third (anything else?), to take QB Jason Campbell.

Washington is actually considering one of the top QB's in the draft this year with their first round pick.

If they do take a QB, not only did they waste a first round pick on a QB 2 years ago, but they gave up a first/third rounder for that wasted QB.

They're still pissed at us for completely ripping them off on the Portis trade and subsequent other trades. It seems that recently a draft doesn't go by that Denver isn't in possession of a Washington pick or using one for trade bait.

I think it's quite funny that Redskins fans are bashing us about the possibilities of risk and reward in regards to a player.

Also, it's funny coming from a team who places little, if no value on the draft at all, since they're not even signed with a scouting service.
