That would be sick, and would allow you to take a cover safety like Reggie Nelson.

If you got the packers pick, it might be better value though (as it's still in front of Jacksonville).

Saving the best WR available for #30 overall.

          Willis??

Q: What's better than having a good WLB?

          A: Having three!

yeah, for some reason i think the pack are just going to stay put and get lynch, now if willis is gone by 12 and the bills take lynch, then maybe GB goes for it, but right now i don't know, hell we may even settle for a high 2nd rounder and a 2nd in the 08 draft. we may even keep him and not trade him, it's all a crap shoot till after saturday. The anticipation is killing me.

Not gonna happen. The Bills have expressed interest in Larry Johnson and if they have to give up a 1st and a 3rd I am pretty darn sure they would do it for Larry Johnson instead.

It's a good thing Jay Cutler was a proven winner in college. Oh wait, nevermind.

if kc is really going to trade LJ, sure, but if they're not and willis gets taken before 12th, that would be great for us if we could snag that pick off of them in a draft day deal.

i think the bills should give up more than 1st and 3rd for LJ though, like some 08 compensation too, something.

Is that the asking price for LJ?

i find it very hard to believe kc would settle for 12th in the 1st and a 3rd rounder, for LJ

As the minimum, I would think. Who knows though. The report that LJ was officially being floated as trade bait just came out yesterday so nobody really knows just what the Chiefs are asking. However, I think a 1st and a 3rd would be the minimum a team would have to give up. IMO a great deal would be a 1st and a 3rd this year as well as a conditional pick next year that could be as high as a 1st round pick depending on certain requirements such as LJ having over 1,600 yards (or something like that) and LJ making the pro bowl. However, that is just speculation on my part.

No clue as to what the Chiefs are asking. So far the Bills, Titans, Browns, and Packers are the ones that have all expressed interest in LJ and according to TV sports analyst Jack Harry here in KC the Falcons and Giants COULD have interest in him.

I would love to get the #3 pick but I don't see that happening. To me the two most likely teams to get LJ would be the Bills and the Packers. The Packers are going to take a runningback at some point so they might as well trade for LJ. I know Favre would love to get LJ in town. LJ would also take alot of pressure off of Aaron Rodgers next year in his first year as a starter. With the #16 pick from the Packers the Chiefs would then be able to take Marshawn Lynch. Lynch will never be quite the runner that LJ is but he is a far better receiver and a better blocker. Besides, I would almost have two good runningbacks than one elite runningback. If LJ goes down we are screwed. If we have Marshawn Lynch and Michael Bennett (or somebody else) splitting the load then if one of them misses any time we can get by.

Plus, if we improve the offensive line I think we will be just fine. Have a good enough line and any runningback will do an adequate job.

I hate to lose LJ but if it helps the team in the long run then so be it.

if kc can swing a ricky williams type fleecing, they're geniuses IMO

that will help them out huge in the long run.
