The Broncos, who are in need of a strong-side linebacker, brought in free agent D.D. Lewis for a predraft visit to their Dove Valley complex Wednesday.
Lewis, who will be entering his fifth NFL season, spent the past four seasons in Seattle after the Seahawks signed him as an undrafted rookie in 2002. Lewis was a starter in 2005 and 2006 but missed 10 games last season because of a right big toe injury that didn't heal.
He was injured in October and the Seahawks put him on injured reserve in December.
Lewis, a regular on the Seahawks' special teams, missed four games in 2005 because of injuries - three because of a knee injury, one because of a foot.
He missed all the 2004 season because of shoulder surgery.
