This is from ESPN Insider telling us what we already know:

    AFC Draft Needs
    Denver

    1. Defensive end: Ebenezer Ekuban, Kenard Lang and John Engelberger are all on the wrong side of 30 and Denver made the oft-injured Courtney Brown a cap casualty. Elvis Dumervil has proved to be an effective pass-rusher but his lack of bulk raises doubts about his future as an every-down player. With that in mind, the Broncos should be in the market for an every-down end who can make an impact rushing the passer.
    2. Wide receiver: Denver needs a true No. 2 to complement Javon Walker. Though the Broncos did well to sign Brandon Stokley, he is far more effective lining up on the slot so he isn't a true No. 2. Rod Smith, who turns 37 this year, isn't the answer either as he is coming off hip surgery and there's still a chance he retires. Brandon Marshall and David Kircus are strictly subpackage receivers.
    3. Safety: John Lynch turns 36 in September and his declining speed limits what he can do in coverage. Nick Ferguson turns 33 this year and is coming off a season-ending knee injury. Further complicating matters, Sam Brandon is also coming off a season-ending knee injury.
    4. Offensive tackle: Denver's decision to trade George Foster to Detroit has created a vacancy on the right side and there are concerns about who will fill it. Adam Meadows could be an adequate stopgap if he can stay healthy but he has played in three games over the past three seasons and backup Jacob Rogers' career has been marred by injuries.
    5. Defensive tackle: Free-agent acquisitionAlvin McKinley should be providing depth rather than starting and the Dan Wilkinson trade has been voided so the Broncos need to infuse some talent here.
    Other Needs: MLB, RB, CB.
    Let's draft her....

I completely disagree with their comment on Brandon Marshall.

    This must be extremely old.

We have "needs" at RB, and CB?

It says "Updated: April 26, 2007, 2:07 PM ET"

so yeah.....i dunno.......but since they list our needs as DE, WR, S, OT, and DT......so to say "other needs" as RB, CB and MLB is basically just listing every position on a football roster........

CB is the least of our worries now. Hell, we need a QB more than a CB at this point. And that's not a whole lot. Or at all. We have like six players who can play the position and two Probowlers. Uh, thanks, but I'll skip the CB. We need OLB way more than CB.

        RIP D-Will and Nash

Are those in order? I think #1 is a tossup between DE and DT; could be argued either way about which is the biggest need. So. . .

          1. DE
          2. DT
          3. OT
          4. S
          5. WR

Yes, the order of need according to them is:
            1. DE
            2. WR
            3. S
            4. OT
            5. DT

Whoever wrote this didn't watch any tape of Brandon Marshall toward the end of last season.

Also, who is Jacob Rogers? Is he really on the team?
To permit irresponsible authority is to sell disaster. (Heinlein)...like Broncos season tickets!
