Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I am an ISU fan as well and feel the question of Drew Tate's drinking "problems" has no relevance to this topic. We don't need another qb period. Especially one of Tate's "stature".
DeAndre Jackson from ISU, now there is a gamble I would like to see the Broncos take!
That was stupid. Did you see DeAndre torch the Iowa defense to start the game last year?

Yeah, but the person we're talking about is DeAndre Jackson.
You said he was being a homer by saying we should get him...and I pointed out that he is a good kick returner...and that is your rebuttal...ok.

8. De'Andre Jackson, CB, Iowa State: I think Jackson would have been a first-day pick in this year's draft had he not torn his ACL at the end of the 2006 season. Iowa State 's top cornerback, as well as a dynamic kick returner, Jackson can do a lot of things on the football field. Does a team take a risk on his knee healing? Is he good enough to be a top-flight corner, even with a fully healed knee? A team with cornerback needs should pay to find out. As of Monday, however, Jackson was still unsigned.
as for the draft, Carriker, Leonard and Wade are also solid
off-season, Dante Hall, Drew Bennet and Randy McMichael
RAMS ARE GOOD TO GO
the Rams look like a much better team this year; I'm not sure the Seahawks have much hope to hold them off in the division. Could we actually see TWO decent NFC West teams? Or will the Seachickens disappear like SF did when the Rams got good, or St. Louis did when Seattle did? Depth charts rarely win games, but the Rams' looks pretty solid.

They should have a top 5 offense this year, it all depends on how they can play against the run. It isn't easy playing against Shaun Alexander, Frank Gore, and the Edge (i'm convinced he'll have a good line this year, just look at his last few games last year)
