Your eyes in CO is back on his comp after watching this mornings session... Ill go ahead and give you all a little breakdown
Overall... Practice was almost entirely 11 on 11 or 7 on 7 today. A lot of plays. So many in fact that i used up a gig memory card recording plays and missed the last 15 min or so... Furguson led the stretching today with a little D Will tribute. One of 27's sayings was "ALL READY" so 25, towards the end of the stretch asked everyone to get up and yell out ALL READY for D Will. He told everyone he wanted everyone to remember that and wants to hear that come game day so no one forgets. Was pretty awesome... Next was something a lot of people probably didnt get a chance to see... A family of three was at the base of the field and the couples 3-4 year old girl was wearing a little lynch jersey... Lynch took notice and once the stretching broke and got a pen from one of the water guys, grabbed a football and walked over to the couple and said "thanks for the support." Gave it to her and everyone was clapping over in that section.... That to me is what defines class and what being a Bronco is all about... Was really awesome to see... Ok so now that we got the gushy stuff out of the way, lets get on with the review of the morning by position
QB... Well lets see... I dont know where to start, either how good our starter played or how bad everyone else played... Ill start with the bad. Ramsay was horrible. there really isnt any other way to say it. Wasnt making his reads, stood like a statue or threw it to one of the fans wearing a walker jersey maybe thinking it was him. I dont know. But he was failure. Hackney actually played the best of the bunch but since he is low man on the totem pole he didnt get all that many reps in. Cutler on the other hand... This man was on his A game today. He was throwing bullets the entire afternoon and in the situational game he always moved the chains. Threw it away only once from what i can remember and was quick and decisive with every throw he made which almost inevitably found its way into a reciever or tight ends hands... It was a thing of beauty and maybe is part of the reason why the other just looked so bad. But this man looked on, and this was also mostly against the A defense which says even more...
RB.... Realy not all that much going on today, at least nothing that really stood out. I would say that Henry looked better today than yesterday and they had Diesel in at #2 back and got quite a few reps, more than Bell got. Dont really understand why when Bell had such a good practice yesterday. Bell was only in with the B line and really didnt do all that much. Maybe they are just trying things out, i dont know
WR... Stokely had the best practice today of players that are "on the bubble" Cutler found him a ton it seems and he had glue on his gloves. Didnt miss anything and made the most of his opportunities. Unlike yesterday, Kircus was a ghost and didnt really get anything thrown his way. Walker was pissed off most of the time. Not at not getting the ball but everytime Parsons or Ramsey was up and Walker would go out on a route he was never seen and eventually got to the point where he was cussing on the field after another throw into the stands and threw his helmet on the ground once he got back... Cutler obviously found him a few times but never the long ball. There was one play in particular where Champ was matched up against Walker and we were hoping it would be a showdown, but it never blossomed...
D line... Was the same today with Engelberger, Adams, Warren and Ekuban starting. I really have to think they just dont want Moss to be in the A d line just yet so he doesnt let it get to his head. Bates loves the kid and slappin his helmet or praising him more than anybody it seems. Its good to see. Elvis got a lot of time in the A group as well. He is a little firecracker... They have him lined up wide wide wide and he just pins his ears back and it at full sprint when he makes contact. But as a whole i would say these guys did pretty well considering the RBs didnt really break one the entire practice.
LB... DD Lewis, the guy from the seahawks, got the starting nod today. He played well, i remember two plays in particular where he was 2 yards deep in the back field to give a nice hello to Henry. He played some solid D along with the other group and i didnt hear bates cuss any of them out once, so that must be a good thing right?
Webster on one play had the hit of the morning and just blew up Henry. I got that one on video and will upload it as soon as i can sort through everything.
As well as the Webster smash, i got some other videos that ill upload as well. I know i got a couple of lynch being lynch and getting some solid contact on some of the rooks out there as well... So ill have some pics and vids up hopefully within the hour...
Until tomorrow, any questions???
