Good job Marcus Thomas!!
Where's Mike Bell?sigpic

Where's Mike Bell?
And I feel bad for the Mike Bell fans that were raving about how great of a backup he was. Sure he has his good days but he is way too inconsistent, as I said months ago at the end of the season.
I hope Louis Green doesn't stay at strong side, I thought our new Bates system required fast LBs? D.D. Lewis was said to be doing great by our TC reporters (thank you) so what is the deal?
Scheffler needs to get back soon, I don't want to see Alexander getting torn apart by defenders for another season.
The main concern should be getting Marshall back (without his over-confidence) and Smith taking care of that hip because our WR depth plain out sucks.Last edited by mxbronco13; 08-06-2007, 02:58 PM.

virtually nothing about Green, and all the sudden he's the starter.
Well, that's why the coaches are the coaches, I guess. They're paid to see
things the rest of us can't . . .
On the flip side, with Sauerbrun the starter in punting, kickoffs, and PK holding, looks like Ernster may be history.

He excels in passing situations, and he's borderline dreadful against the run, and nothing better than a liability.
I don't believe Dumervil will ever be an every down player, but he will be very productive in the situational role he excels in.
Hopefully Denver can prevent opponents from going no huddle so teams don't utilize that to keep him off the field when he needs to be on.

Shanny's first change to depth chart!!!!!
Position battle
During a 2-minute drill late in the morning session, defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy shot through to sack Cutler. Broncos coach Mike Shanahan then yanked right guard Chris Kuper out and replaced him with Montrae Holland. So while Kuper started the day as the first-string right guard, he didn't finish there. ""We got a lot of competition at a lot of positions but when a guy gives up three sacks in one day, we decided to make a move and see how the other guy responds," Shanahan said.
