Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Post your thoughts and memories of Darrent at the Official Website
I just thought some of you would like to know that it it possible to post your thoughts and memories of Darrent Williams or offer your condolences at the Official Website by clicking on the link below:
i wanna wish the Williams family the best during this time of morn he was an important player on and off the field, and as a fan i will miss him and im sure all broncos fans will miss as well as the players
Just in case it doesn't get posted on the site...I thought I'd just post it here.
All I could do was gasp out a sob and stare at the screen on espn.com when I saw that Darrent Williams was dead.
I can't believe it.
Last night was a trial of getting over a loss - in a game - that sent the Broncos out of the playoffs.
But with a loss there's next year.
Now I keep on thinking of #27...and there isn't a next year.
I feel like I knew him, just because of how much I love the Broncos, and how involved I am in following them all year-round.
Darrent Williams was first and foremost a person...and he was a Bronco.
Being a Bronco makes him part of a brotherhood.
A family.
A worldwide family.
I'm a part of that family.
And because of that, I mourn the loss, and I feel it as personal as any death in my own family.
My prayers, and the prayers and thoughts of countless others reach out to Darrent's family and friends.
We just want to let you know that we love y'all.
That's all I can say.
From the heart, we love y'all.
One last Mile High salute, Darrent Williams.
I wonder if the funeral is going to be here in Fort Worth. If it is I'd like to go...although wherever it is my prayers go with the family.
May the memories held deep in his family's heart help soothe their spirits at this difficult time and may they find peaceful days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with them all and with all of the Denver Broncos family.
I want to give my deepest condolences to the williams family for there loss. And my broncos for one of there best CB besides bailey..I've watched him grow in this league and he only got better as the weeks went by....will miss you darrent williams, thanks for the memories.....have fun in heaven..
D-Will will be missed by all the Broncos family. I always thought he was a top notch corner who had to play a little harder than the next guy, being 5"8. I pray that he was a believer and will go on to be with our lord.
What has become of this world today? It saddens my heart to see such a fine young man and a tremendous football player be taken away by such ignorance.
Darrent will be missed greatly. I would like to send out my deepest sympathy to the entire Williams family and to the whole orginization of the Denver Broncos. He will be greatly missed.
