Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

What players from other teams were at the Funeral?
I lay my "whys" before your Cross, in worship kneeling, mind to numb for thought, heart beyond all feeling. And worshipping, realize that I, knowing you, don't need a "why". Ruth Graham ALL READY

Pryce was at the teams memorial for him but not sure about the funeral. Don't know what the Ravens schedule has been like this week. I kind of doubt he could be gone from the team for 3-4 or days like he would have been if he was at the funeral in addition to the teams memorial.
Damien Nash & Darrent Williams Forever Broncos.
"He's such a pro. He's been everything you'd ever want as a player and then some." Mike Shanahan on Rod Smith
Good...I have very strong admiration for Kubiak (and root for the Texans as long as they're not playing us.)

To all those who are pissed at Ashley; it shows nothing but class to come back and grieve a former teammate when you don't have to.
Go Ashley.
I still don't think what he did leaving Denver was too classy, and there were far better ways he could have handled it, but I admire him for what he did now.
Hell if he's classy enough to admire a former player at his funeral, he might want to come back to Denver, should he hit the FA market and not be resigned by Atlanta.
It doesn't matter to me if he comes back or not, but the important thing is he showed some serious class coming to pay his dues to Darrent.
And I respect him for that.
Oh and the Ravens had 5 days off after the Bills game. An award by Brian Billick to the players for clinching a first round bye.
