Official Game Day Thread: Week 2 2010 Seahawks vs Broncos

Well week one did not go well as one would hope. Missed chances and dumb penalties (repeatedly) did us in. Hopefully we can rebound and get the team going in the right direction against the Seahawks.

Our one time division foe comes to Invesco to face us. Since 1996 we are 11-16 against the Seahawks. We last faced them in a losing effort at home in 2006. The Seahawks are coming off a surprise thumping of the 49ers. So either the Seahawks were better in week one than most expected or the 49ers were less than many believed them to be. Whatever the case we need to play better than last week to have a chance.

Let's hope for a good injury free game, and hope that we end the day with a "W" We ask all posters follow the Code of Conduct. Those who fail to may find themselves Infracted, Suspended, or Banned. I speak only for myself. I am very grateful for this amazing Bronco Country web site that offers so much. I thank the moderators for what they do. I thank those who post threads that benefit the good of the order and that is talking Bronco football. It doesn't matter if you have something good to say about the Denver Broncos, or something bad. Just state your feelings in a civilized matter and be able to back up what you say with logical reasoning. That's all I have to say. I'll be stoked to see the game tomorrow on Fox!

The last time the Broncos played the Seahawks in Denver...

Champ Bailey picked off a pass in the end zone.

Al Wilson's career ended.

Jay Cutler made his first start as an NFL QB.

I got tickets to section 535.

It was November.

We set a record for coldest temperature in Denver on that day in recorded history.

My brother in law, one of our friends and I all caught hypothermia. It took me two days to stop shivering even though the temperature in my house was 78 degrees. Note: This may have been related to our consumption of alcohol as my sister did not catch hypothermia, but only drank hot chocolate all night.

We stayed until the game was over.

We lost.



A lot will be different today.

I remember that game, if I recall correctly Cutler was leasing us to a scoring drive to go up near the end of the game when he threw a horrendous pick
:nono: that sealed our fate. We have to win 3 of our 5 final games to make the play off and Cutler could not cut it.
