Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Gameday Thread - Preseason game 1: Broncos @ Dallas
I just moved to Missouri and none of the bars have the game so I am following it play by play on my phone. Fans that are watching can you please give me some feedback on the 2nd team O line. Cause it sounds like they cannot open any holes for Ball and White and the pass protection isn't sounding to good. Feedback and thoughts would be appreciated Broncos Nation.
Putting aside the overall sketchiness of how Tebow looks, he's actually throwing for a high YPA.
One of the ways he fools you watching him -- the motion is slow, the arm is deceptively strong, but he throws long passes. Even his "short" passes are longer than you realize.

i wouldnt say that i think he looked solid as the #2 QB, he didnt look like manning or nothing but he looked solid imo. the 2nd string oline SUCKS i hope none of our starts go dwn bc we will be in trouble. we have a long way to go the only bright spot i saw was the first string run game. franklin is going to really struggle this yr
I am very happy to see Willis show up, I knew he had it in him which made Llyods one year contract expendable in a trade for a pick, Llyod id great just buisness, I dont see us paying him big money next year.

I hate the Defenseless Receiver rule and the fines. Posted since '07. 2011 rule addition :nono: backhand a fool!
Tebow is still the most dangerous offensive weapon we have in the Red Zone.
He needs to be on the field. Chalk up his rawness to collateral damage.
He's a calculated risk, but he is loaded with ability.

In the 13 games Orton started, the Broncos scored touchdowns inside the red zone on 17 of 104 trips (one on a Tebow run). With Tebow as the starter, the Broncos scored touchdowns 6-of-8 times inside the 20.
