Well time to post this thread, we still have a day to enjoy.
We have two games left though our season in dead... killed by losses to the 49ers and the Browns despite the usual excellent coaching efforts
of Joseph, Woods, and Musgrave and the always steady arm and accuracy of Case Keenum, who cetainly justified the money we spent on him.
Such a difference maker for us this season. I confess I might just be a little bitter over this past season...
We've sown up 3rd place in the Afc west... Yeah for us...
So we play on Monday night (AKA a week from Vance's firing) Our foe this week the woeful Raiders who almost make us look good. I waited until tonights game ended. The Chargers have pretty much claimed the 5th seed with the poor game vs the Ravens, So they have nothing to play for next week but pride. So maybe they start resting players. We have a chance to end the season 8 and 8. Yes it is better than last year, but with the talent we had, it just feels worse.
Lot of good rookie effort this year and I like where that talent is going. Gonna need more WR help and fill a lot of defensive holes, while trying to improve the o-line. I won't speculate on QB... save something for the offseason. amiright
The 3-11 Raiders have had a worse season than us. Their net point differential this season is -158, Denvers is +7. I guess the difference is we have pass rushers on this team... they have some first round pics to screw up on. Still Carr has more yards, More TDs and less Ints than Case. Raiders are playing better for the most part. Doug Martin has been toting the rock for them, but Denvers duo of Runningbacks has killed it this season. (even though the last two games they have seemed to be an after thought.
In week 15 games how do we do.... a sub par 4-6 over the last decade. Of the 4 wins 3 were at home , 1 on the road. Of the 6 losses 5 were on the road and 1 at home. SO away games are not our friends... we went 1-5 .
Hopefully Denver is playing for Pride Monday night. Its a chance for us to show of our Rookie running back. Which means Vance is setting up a game plan that revolves around Case throwing it 45 times. Still Lindsay should hit his 1000 yards rushing on the season (should have hit it last week) These two games gives our rookies a little more time to develop in actual game day situation. Sutton and Hamilton are still raw products and don't seem quite ready for the bright lights.
Hang in there we are close to the finish line, Denver wont lose more that 2 games the rest of this season.
We ask yet again. Please watch what you post and how you say it. Please follow the COC . Report any violations and don't get into meaningless board battles. I am gonna enjoy this game, because were almost out of chances until next August to see this team play. Enjoy it why you can.
I hope you all have a Happy Holiday, spend time with friends and family and stay healthy. Best to all . Hope we get the "W" just cuz it would be a nice Christmas Present. As always GO BRONCOS!!!
