Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Broncos Vs. 49ers Preseason Week 3 Game Night Thread
I like Lock's intensity. He is getting better week by week but he sure isn't happy with himself on some plays. Nice to see the intensity and drive and looks like he is recognizing some of his mistakes right away. Lock is learning and imo he really seems to show the drive to want to learn. I like what I am seeing.
Lock was put on the field early as a true freshman at Missouri when the starter went down. He didn’t have a lot of talent on the line and quite a lot of turnover with the coaching staff. He’s a very hard worker and does not give up. I like the improvement game over game.
He’s getting little help from the line so he’ll have to do the best he can. That was a good throw to Benson considering his thumb was hurting.
Finally a punt with some decent pressure coverage, and then I realized it's Shemarko Thomas, he's in the league to play Special Teams (and pretty good at it) so I'm not shocked it was him. He might make the team to be that Special Teams ace that every team needs.
That’s true. I wonder how much of it is guys just trying to make a play vs our depth LBs not being very good athletes vs poor coaching/discipline
Our LB depth is worrisome. It doesn't look like Alex Singleton will make the Eagles, despite being their highest graded player in preseason 1. He'd be a good addition to the team.
I think Leary will shore up a lot of the interior pressure/pocket collapsing. Kind of surprised that Wilkinson hasn’t been starting at RG and rotating to OT with the bench units. Maybe the coaching staff feels he’s too valuable to play that much
That might be the case with Wilkinson. Seems like he can play swing tackle or guard so they might not want to risk injury.
