Bush should have been the pick. We have no thumped in the middle.

We have no one that can cover TEs still.

Middle Dline is too light.

Oline still need work.

That is tragic for fans. No one can fire him, so he will just keep making the same mistakes.

Elway was a fearless gunslinger on the field and he's proving to be the same as a GM, which very well could end up being his downfall. He's terrible at adjusting, making the same mistakes over and over. Problem is, he no longer has Peyton Manning to bail him out.

This entire debacle is on Elway's watch. He has destroyed this team with bad coaching hires and the worst drafts in the NFL. Do you think Brittany Bowlen would ever fire him...that would be no. We are stuck with this guy and his clown sidekick, Matt Russell, until he decides to retire.

Be comical to see how much worse this season gets.

It's fine, the more we suck the more likely we can play Lock, and at worst if we have a top 3 pick and Lock looks good, we can get a kings ransom in next years QB heavy draft..... but then again Elway might waste those draft picks too.

I'll need to see a couple more performances like this before I start crying. 1st game in a brutal environment against a team with a big big chip on its shoulder, it coulda been worse imo. Team is soft though on both lines, that starts in practice.

Just look at the body language of the offense as they come on the field. Lackadaisical, mopey, blah.... just shows you how poorly coached and prepared they are.

A few major issues for me in this game:

1. The Raiders OL are HUGE. Why are we not seeing bigger sets of D-Lineman on the field?

2. Vic NEEDS to coach and stop calling Defense. We are not adjusting as we should and I fear that he is being spread too thin

3. Right-side of the line and Middle look AWFUL.

4. Joe Flacco is playing like a rookie.

5. I have seen ZERO and I mean ZERO creative offensive concepts. Inside runs failed....so they just kept calling them....we struggled running the ball....where was the big sets?

New coaching staff, new QB, no Matt Paradis, (guy who’d play hurt) however big money to a tackle who got hurt in the first half, Same horrible product.

Yes at some point Elway will have to stand up and take blame and to those saying “no one can fire him” remember Eliss played a huge role in Mike Shanahans dismissal.

I’m just going to shut up about Joe Flacco. One moment he wows, the next moment he disappoints. I guess this is better than the constant disappointment we’ve had at the QB position for the last 5 years?
