While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Official Game Day Thread: 2019: Week 4 Jaguars vs Broncos
Some people know how to win NFL games, and some just don't.
Fangio is a rookie HC, he was a good DC,

Don’t be tricked by the line that Fangio is a good DC. He’s had some success but he’s had several mediocre years as a DC.
It sucks we come so close to winning against good teams and today we were mopped by a good running back. It seems we are only a few pieces away from a good team. Better QB, LB, OL, and DL play and we could be a scary team.
I see some people already saying get rid of Vic but he and Rick can only work with what they have been given talent wise...even if you play to their strengths (on offence) their ceiling is limited.
I like Vic and I like this team. If we can can at least show more fight we can maybe pull a few wins out. Death by inches. We're not getting blown out but we are getting handled.

I’m usually right there with the more positive posters on the board, but this is more than a few pieces - these positions make up what would be the identity of this team, it will take multiple good/great drafts to fill these holes.
I believe we’re on the right track, but it’s going to take what looks like a loooong season ahead of us to figure out the identity that Fangio wants to build here.
VJ got two years, Fangio will get the same unless there is a sudden change in ownership/front office positions (which doesn’t seem likely).
I’m with you though, I like Vic - I hope he turns this season around starting next week with the Chargers!

The schedule gets harder from here. This was the easy part of our schedule.
The only game we stand a fighting chance of winning is vs Miami.
Except we don't play Miami this season...which is probably a blessing because it saves us from what would've probably been our most humiliating loss for this season..

Ok I stand corrected, I thought we had them. You're right, that's probably a blessing for us. We play Buffalo. We likely lose that.
We'll probably find one game to show up for later in the season, but things look really blah at the moment.
I’m kind of thinking of the win doesn’t come before November and they actually give Lock a chance that it’s very unlikely. He might be able to steal a win at home against Oakland though.
