Hey Bronco fans,
Last week was a return to the norm as the team was out played from start to finish. We ended up just being fodder for the Chefs as they
prepare for a playoff run and needed a good tune up team. They frolicked around and play, while we has Snow business being there. An 18 of 40 passing day should be an idea of some of our bad game planning.
So we have 2 games left in this miserable affair of the season. We won 5 games 2 years ago, 6 games last season... and have 5 games won with 2 left to go. Even if we win them and end up 7 and 9 that is 3 seasons with a losing record. Seems like the team is stuck in the same gear, and I don't know if I see hope on the horizon.
Lock is continuing to get his feet wet in his sampling of games. Fant has some shown some promise. Run game is what it should be. Sutton has come into his own. The D still formidable has lost a bit of its edge. Maybe that is due to the loss of Chubb, Harris losing a stop or the fact we let Yiadom on the field.k)
So we are facing the Lions, one of the teams who have played worse than we have this year. So we have a chance in this home game of ours.
Maybe we need the Lions to get the passing game back on track. They gave up +450 yards to the Bucs last week. They are ranked 30 vs the pass, yards per catch and yards per game. (So we will probable have a run heavy offensive game plan this week)
Though our D has lost a step this is a game they should easily handle. We have exceptional red zone defense. If we needed a tune up game before facing the Raiders next week this would be it. This could be the Broncos Christmas present to the fans.
SO how do we do in week 15 games. Well over the last decade were a horrible 4-6. Of the 4 wins, 3 were at home. Of the 6 losses all we on the road. So we've lost only one time at home in the last 10 years
We're near the end folks, thank you for your patience and please follow the code of conduct as always. Help the mods do there job. You see something, say something to them. Hope everyone has a good end to the weekend and a good holiday season. Best wishes to all and as always "Go Broncos!"
