Arguably, you can make the case the Lindsay is the better back since Gordon hasn’t had a 1,000 yard season since 3 years ago. Could blame on missing games but that’s why I said arguably. Lindsay has been a pretty big part of our offense so losing him is still a pretty big loss regardless.

When an injury happened doesn’t matter and whether people on this board wanted him or not, We still lost our top Pass rusher

San Fran lost their first game but won their second in large part of playing the Jets. Jets are easily the worst team in football right now. But for the sake of this argument, Grap still had throw two TDs before he went down and Raheem almost had 100 yards plus a TD. So they were already up 21 points.luckily for the 49ers they play Giants, Eagles, and Miami all teams that are 0-2 in their next 3 games. Def winnable. However, if they lose, I bet no one bats an eye considering how many people went down and I bet no one blames coaching.

There were a lot of key injuries today but look at ours so far.

We have 39 mil in defensive player cap on the IR including our best player in Miller and one of our best players in Bouye.

We have multiple play makers who have missed significant game time...Sutton, Lock, Hamler, Juedy and Lindsay.

I think the comparison with Vance Joseph is more than fair. We lost a lot of close games under him, and those losses were blamed squarely on him. Heck, VJ was getting criticized for the way he "looked" on the sideline. Fangio not calling a TO last week while Tennessee ran down the clock was inexcusable. To have 3rd and 2 and not attempt to run the ball is just a bad coaching move.

I love the grit from the player for damn sure. I feel that the coaches let them down, constantly. Don't expect them to score every play. Do expect they are going to struggle with a young team. But the coaching is imnsho is consistently inconsistent.

I would be all for that. He's still the best QB we've had since Manning.

I do not see this as a Fangio problem. I see two major issues here.

    1. Elway never addressed the OT position in the off season. More specifically RT. James has been hurt and Bolles has had penalties. Also given the 2020 season and state of the world why just roll with Wilkinson as a backup RT....

    2. Shermer- his record as an OC was mediocre. Imo wed have been better off targeting a more innovative college coach.

I think under 2020 rules the Broncos can pull Rypien up off of the Practice Squad to back up Driskel for as long as they need to and then stash him back on there when Lock comes back.
