First time in a long time I get to say this (and mean it): Coaching / play calling played a huge part in that win yesterday. Team was well prepared and staved off a golden opportunity to collapse.

The Rams' official Web site has reported that their offense will look different this coming season. The Rams will be playing a version of the Philadelphia Eagles' "West Coast" offense.
The scheme will put more emphasis on running the ball. The passes will be short, and will require the receivers to run after making a catch.
The shorter passes should help the offensive line. They will not have to protect Bulger for as long. While the shorter pass protection time might help the line, the line will now be required to make a lot more calls.

Quinn Bailey played really well- even got a game ball from Coach Fangio.
Great win today!

Drew: 57% completions, 3.7 YPA, 1 INT, 1 fumble, 1 sack taken, 26 total net yards
This doesn't seem complicated to me.Last edited by famicommander; 11-28-2021, 05:47 PM.

lol, soooooo.... drew three the ball deep & had a interference call so he’s a better QB!!!!!????
1 interception & 1 fumble later , the Drew almost got a completed pass but the receiver was interfered play is insignificant😁

Considering the injuries on both sides of the ball, I wonder how the Broncos still managed to beat a good (?) team like the Chargers and Cowboys ... coaching maybe? The biggest reason, in my view, they lost to the Eagles is Gordon's fumble, until then that was a winnable game.
The OL had one starter left today - Cushenberry - and still were able to run the ball and gave some time to Teddy when needed, actually they had a 3rd string LT playing for like a half? They have a rookie starting in place of Von, a rookie starting at ILB along with another player just recently aquired from the Rams... also Shelby Harris did not play today. SMH!
Also didn't notice Kareem Jackson being out ... another rookie Sterns played well too.Last edited by brianmcfarlane; 11-29-2021, 07:10 AM.

Use short passes like running plays, etc. Totally old school.

The Broncos stepped up when multiple players left the game. The left side of the O-Line was replaced with backups who did well. Teddy was able to come back for the 2nd half. D raised their game to a level the Chargers could not match. The rushing attack saved the day. Impressive team win for players and coaches.

Negative fans are definitely more disappointing than a mediocre team.
Congratulations on a great division win team!
Teddy showed some mettle, defense was stout, coaching was tolerable.

lets be honest the first surtain int was a play any defensive back in position without butter fingers would make and the second was a fluke , the chargers always seem a soft team , powder blue , lead the league in dropped passes ? i don't think theres any magic wand , just got to keep the locker room spirit up and hope luck ( not the qb ) goes our way , and have a good draft and get some good ( not overpriced ) free agents.
