  • Bold mock with no trades. last before combine

This mock is conditional on all trades as they are impossible to predict.

    MIA-Darren McFadden
miami has so many holes that Parcells is force to take the best player available. As he is the best player available and no QB's are worthy of a number one pick, they select D'Mac. They saw what AP and Chester Taylor did for the QB play of Tavaris Jackson. They like Henne in the 2nd round.

    STL-Glenn Dorsey
fits their 4-3 scheme and allows them to better utilize last years 1st pick Adam Carricker. He will immediately improve thier run defense.

    ATL-Matt Ryan
atlanta desperately needs someone to lead their team. QB is by far their biggest need and they are comfortable taking Ryan at #3.

    OAK-Jake Long
if oakland plans to use Jamarcus Russell they need to improve their o-line. Long can be an anchor for their o-line and unfortunatley improve their team.

    KC-Vernon Gholston
Gholston and Allen would be a great pass rush combo and improve thier defense and reduce pressure on their secondary.

    NYJ-Sedrick Ellis
Ellis can play the nose in a 3-4 scheme and will have an immediate impact. He is just too good to not pick at this point.

    NE-Desean Jackson
many people think that New England needs to draft a CB, but I think randy moss will want top dollar this offseason as he has proven that he is still elite. Jackson helps them replace the deep threat in randy moss and also helps their special teams. He can step in immediately and improve their offense.

    BAL-Leodis McKelvin
he performed extremely well at the senior bowl and both Mcallister and Rolle have proved that they struggle to stay on the field. With their secondary aging they look to infuse some youth. McKelvin should show up huge at the combine and will raise his stock.

    CIN-Kenny Phillips
their defense is so bad that they have to grab the best player available on defense. Phillips should be able to help limit the amount of big plays that they give up.

    NO-Mike Jenkins
Their secondary has been horrible and Jenkins can step in and help immediatley. The defense is just bad!!

    BUF-Ryan Clady
marshawn Lynch was able to put up good numbers in his season without great help from his o-line. If they plan to start trent edwards they better protect his blindside.

    DEN-Keith Rivers
jonathan stewart is tempting but OLB is a bigger need and Shanahan is counting on less injuries to RB's and will take a RB in the 4th like a Mike Hart.

    CAR-Brian Brohm
steve smith cannot be effective without a consistent QB. delhomme is simply not the solution.

    CHI-Mario Manningham
with the likely departing of Berrian they need a vertical threat at receiver. They would like to get a QB and have their eyes on john david booty after seeing his accuracy. They are not willing to invest a #1 pick on a QB in fear of another grossman.

    DET-Dominique-Rogers Chromartie
defense is a big need for detroit and especially the secondary. Chromartie showed that he could run, jump, and hit at the senior bowl. He is supposed to time well at the combine.

    ARI-Calais Campbell
the offense shoud be better with a healthy leinart, so they go with defense. His size is attractive and he should improve their defense, at the combine people will be impressed with his numbers.

    MIN-Early Doucet
bobby wade is not a #1 receiver. They need a threat at WR, this will help stop people from putting 8 in the box.

    HOU-Jonathan Stewart
ahman green was a failed experiment and with stewart available they immediatly take him. Will help take pressure off of schaub.

    PHI-Malcolm Kelly
philadelphia finally gives mcnabb the WR he always wanted. The last time they had a clear #1 WR they made it to the superbowl.

    TB-Limas Sweed
they look at woodson, but gruden prefers veteran QB's. They wanted cj last year and they finally get somebody to replace galloway when he retires.

    WAS-Dan Connor
he is just too good of value at this point.

    DAL-Rashard Mendenhall
marion barber is able to carry the load, but he doesn't have the spead to go the distance. Mendenhall and barber would wear defenses down and scare opposing teams.

    PIT-Reggie Smith
he can improve their return game and atleast play S if he doesn't workout at corner. Secondary is a need for pitsburgh

    TEN-Felix Jones
he gives them a RB with the speed to take it the distance. They could use a receiver, but no one left is worthy of this pick. Tennessee likes to run the ball and now they can take it the distance

    SEA-Jeff Otah
seattle would like a RB, but no one left is worth the pick. Jones is getting older and they don't have anyone ready to replace him.

    JAC-Devin Thomas
a receiver that can help add some speed to their offense.

    SD-Kentwan Balmer
kind of a reach, but they have no real need. They would like a RB to backup LT, but not in the first.

    DAL-Aqib Talib
secondary is a need of dallas and aqib has proven that he can be an elite cover corner. His value is too high here to pass on.

    SF-Phillip Merling
there defense is suspect except for patrick willis, the pressure Merling will help provide will help take pressure off of clements and harris.

    GB-Sam Baker
there o-line is solid, but baker helps add depth and can play multiple positions on the o-line. A solid pick for green bay.

    NYG-Gosder Cherilus
his physicallity and strength should allow him to be a dominant RT in the league. He will immediatly upgrade their o-line which is already solid.

    WHAT DO YOU THINK?

There's no way in hell the Bengals draft another safety.

The Bengals drafted both Marvin White of TCU AND Chidenum Ndukwe of Notre Dame last year.

The Bengals needs are: DT, DE, LB, TE, OL. In that order.

And the Bengals defense stands to improve immensely, to boot. We expect to get both Ahmad Brooks and maybe David Pollack back from injury, as well as Odell Thurman back from suspension next year. Combine that with our new defensive coordinator (Zimmer) and our new LB coach (FitzGerald), and we're suddenly in VERY good shape.

Again, no way do the Bengals draft Phillips. Not a chance.

I dont know if to cry or to question your mental train of thought
McDaniles Career as a failure of a Head Coach is being fulfilled. Termination of McFailure has happen.

Rejoice Bronco Fans we have taken our team back, but at a heavy cost.

Haha, I respect everyone that makes a mock draft, but this one is pretty bad.

Cant see McFadden going to Miami at all.

Clady to Buffalo to protect Edwards' blindside? Ever hear of Jason Peters, the starting LT in the Pro Bowl?

Phillips to Cincy? Another RB to Tenn?

I would cry if we picked an LB. I'd rather take a Kicker before a LB in the first. This class is deep and we can get one in the second and lower. We have depth already and adding some late round linebackers will only add more depth. Only LB I think worth the 1st was James Laurinaitis, but he didn't enter the draft.

Some comments on the top part of the draft:

With Bill Parcells in Miami, there's no way they go RB + QB in rounds 1 and 2. Look for an impact defensive player (suitable for a 3-4) or a trade down.

There are a number of reason why Atlanta won't go for Ryan. Look for OT or McFadden as the new face of the team.

I seriously doubt Oakland passes on Ellis after coaching him in the Senior Bowl. He's everything their shoddy interior DL needs.

KC is *desperate* for help at OT... if they don't do something about it, they pretty much won't have an offense. If you saw our home game against KC, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Jake Long or Clady here.

NE taking Jackson? If they lose Samuel, they're going to need help at CB.

Buffalo really needs help on offense - go WR here.

While I do respect your opinions about the upcoming draft, I don't think the Calais Campbell can go to two different teams. Or are these two different people? IMO if we don't draft DT with the 1st pick, we should go either franchise RB or best player available.

                  Hmmm.
Good effort but I gotta say some of the same things. I do not see the Raiders taking another Oline and I see KC needing one. Like said Cincy does not need a safety. You could be right about Parcels. With that guy you never know.
I am not going to knock you too hard because you tried.

Applause for the effort but you should really look into teams needs more thoroughly. For example KC is happy with Allen and Hali at DE and would most likely take an OT in the first.
