And why exactly would we want him? Assuming he gets reinstated in the first place I don't think it'd be wise to take such a gamble. Did we not learn our lesson from last year, that it's better to build through the draft? In addition to that, CB is the strongest position on the Broncos, why would we even consider him? The only reason I can see is his value as a kick returner but it still is not worth it in my opinion.sigpicthanks Freyaka

Shanny takes risks on high risk players. He saw something in Pacman's apology that made him actually believe it. Plus, the guy can straight up play.
I know we do not need a CB, and honestly that is what confuses me as to why we are interested. However, he is a playmaker and maybe Shanny was not happy with Bly's performance this year.
I would even be happy to see him on the field in Orange and Blue (because I do not live in Denver).

Yeah, I've got to believe that it's a load of bull.
Only a desperate team is going to want Jones right now. And the Broncos are far from desperate when it comes to cornerback.
Maybe if they trade us the right to Haynesworth (so we can franchise him) then would could do them a huge favor and take Pacman off their hands...

I don't think that this is on the level.
Even if you you put on a blind fold to overlook his multitude of character flaws, unless you were frantically trying to unload one of our present corners cap hit, why would we even seriously consider Pacman? He is a solid returner but his bagage would far outweigh his value for that.

Originally posted by SM19I think the opposite may be the case. The only way I'd take a chance on Jones would be if I could afford to lose him once he screws up again. With two excellent cornerbacks already on the team, Denver can certainly afford to do so; at worst, we'd be losing our return specialist.
I'm not necessarily in favor of trading for him, but assuming for a moment that this rumor is true, I'd be a lot more worried if we were actually desperate for a cornerback. I wouldn't want to depend on a guy like Jones to fill such an important role on my team.
Now, whether he can stay on the field or not is another argument, but he is a legit playersigpic

If we lose Foxy we pacman would be an awsome nickel back. He would have to be scared straight and told to keep as far away from the clubs as possible, but it may be exciting.
That said I would trow up a little if i heard shanny pulled the trigger on this one.2014 adopt a Bronco #63 Ben Garland
