Gr3y, I really hope this was not meant as an argument against Mendenhall! Because if so you shot your own foot...Who was the last back we were going to draft according to Shanahan? Laurence Maroney from Minnesota, a Big Ten prospect, and I have heard at least three people make this argument yet, but mentioned a few backs available next year one of those prospects mentioned is Chris Wells from Ohio St. again a Big Ten school, some also mentioned Javar Ringer from Michigan St., Tyrell Sutton from Northwestern and Phill Hill from Wisconsin again all from Big Ten schools. So the argument against the Big Ten is really non existent, except for those trying to discredit Mendenhall. Maroney like Mendenhall is from a Big Ten school, a conference which both Shanahan and Turner coached in and have many ties to, not only at Minnesota but also at Ohio St. and Illinois where Ron Zook coaches.

We might as well just overlook all Big Ten products which include Dan Connor, Rashard Mendenhall, Mike Hart, Jehuu Caulcrick, James Hardy, Devin Thomas, Mario Manningham, Paul Hubbard, Adrian Arrington, Dorien Bryant, Jake Long, Kirk Barton, Akim Millington, Adam Kraus, Jordan Grimes, Robbie Powell, Vernon Gholston, Cliff Avril, Kenny Iwebema, Bryan Mattison, Matt Kroul, Nick Hayden, Chris Norwell, Shawn Crable, Mike Humpal, Stanford Keglar, Sir Darean Adams, Chris Graham, Jeremy Leman, Kaleb Thornhill, Tracy Porter, Charles Godfrey, Justin King, Jack Ikegwuonu, Jamar Adams, Dominique Barber, Brandent Englemon, Kevin Mitchell, Taylor Mehlhaff and Ken DeBauche.

Well now that we eliminated a quarter of the draft we should be able to make some stable mock drafts!

It seems like ive always heard how the big ten is about big yet slower players, maybe they have trouble adjusting to the speed of the nfl, but there has been alot of big name players that turned into bust, good list.
I dont think you should make too much of it though when looking at individual players, but its worth noticing, and I think its to early to say ted ginn is "the worst pick ever".

Wow, this list only proves how many great talent the Big 10 has. Good job on the list, and if this is indeed a list to discredit Mendenhall. Good job of proving yourself wrong.
