    Shame. It was nice to have the opportunity to clobber him twice a year.

      Yeah, unfortunately he never got properly introduced to John Lynch, ie: Dante Hall.

        He did at least once...the 05 game against KC at Arrowhead. It was the stupid pile-of-w*** "helmet to helmet" penalty (the flag was thrown about 5 seconds after the play had ended because the refs saw a big hit and the number 47). That gave the Chiefs a first and goal and they scored. It was a horrible call.

                Chiefs release veteran wide receiver Kennison
                Associated Press

                KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs released veteran wide receiver Eddie Kennison on Tuesday.

                Kennison, 35, played for the Chiefs for seven seasons and was their top wide receiver for most of that time. But last season, he was limited by hamstring and shoulder injuries to only eight games, catching 13 passes for 101 yards.

                The 6-1, 201-pound receiver played in 91 games for the Chiefs, catching 321 passes for 5,230 yards and 25 touchdowns. He had 1,000-yard receiving seasons in 2004 and 2005, joining Carlos Carson as the only players in Chiefs history to accomplish that feat.

                Besides the Chiefs, Kennison has played for St. Louis, New Orleans, Chicago and Denver during his 12-year career.

                        Can see it now, we Sign him again, Kennison tells coach Shanahan his heart isn't in the game, we release him, he signs with the Raiders.

                          Hey this is great news, I have an idea!

                          We MUST sign this guy and here's why;

                          We need to teach our young Safeties like Hamza and whoever we draft how to lay someone out going across the middle, In camp we can stick Kennison at the number 2 spot, make him run every route across the middle and tell Cutler to "Bait Him" then instruct Hamza to lay is a** out.

                          This will help Hamza be more agressive and make Kennison feel like he is wanted, then whenever he makes it all the way through camp and takes his licks, we can cut him at the final cutdown, but before we do this we line up a Guantlet through the whole length of the field and tell him that if he wants that final roster spot, he must make it through, then cut his A** anyways!!!

                          P.S. I've always hated this guy!!!
