As with most return specialists, he's known to be more of a speed receiver. He may be able to slight a man off here and there, but he's no "tear 'em off and truck through 'em" Brandon Marshall. Still, he's along the lines of what we need. A return man, and a speed wide-out to stretch the field for Marshall to get open short.

He's second on my short list of receivers that fit in with our needs, because he (1) costs too much as a first round pick and (2) he's far too small. While he's 6'0" tall, which is about average, he's a meager 166lbs or so. Somebody else said he'd get snapped in half from a solid hit from a true NFL linebacker or safety (and as a return guy he's going to take a bunch), that size is what warrants the concern.

My favorite is Eddie Royal, while only 4'8", he's bulked up to a 180lb frame. Also a speedster and return man, his value is placed in the third-round range. The reasons for this? Those two inches make him pretty small for a receiver. The other key difference is the forty times. While Royal runs about a solid 4.4, Jackson can push it into a 4.2 gear (late 4.2, I think I saw a 4.27).

Eddie Royal is only 4' 8"? I hope you meant 5' 8". I have heard tons of good things about him and wouldn't mind taking him in the 2nd after seeing his combine.

I've been watching Royal since he was in high school. He's a tough rec. and not afraid to lay-out for a catch but he sometimes disappears in games. Yes he's good in the open field and is a solid return man who I'm a fan of and would love to see in a Bronco jersey but taking him in the 2nd is a huge reach. He'll prob. go late 3rd or early 4th.
