Unless the Guy is a clone of Devin Hester, he's not worth a 2nd round pick to just be a primary KR.

Were not like the Bears, who have an Incompetent QB and OC that cant find their way to the Endzone even if they had a GPS system to help them.

We actually do have a real offense. Last time I checked we almost beat the bears if our retard of a kicker didnt kick it to hester.

With how Shanahan said we are going to run the ball first and stop the run. Taking royal in the 2nd would not be a good pick.

Denver will possibly look for WR's that can make plays after the catch and the ability to block down field.

Earl Bennett a high grade Play After Catch WR and good blocker down the field would be a great pick up.

Harry Douglas WR from Louisville (4th rounder)
    D.J Hall WR Alabama (2nd - 4th)
Dexter Jackson Appalachian State (4th rounder)
Will Franklin WR Missouri (4th rounder)

As well as possible 5th rounders WR's

The thing is with the new revitalization of a run oriented system, will make the WR take a back seat.

He would compliment B'Marsh perfectly and immediately improve our KR/PR game.

    What do you guys think?
I love you man...this man is 100% right

He can't catch, he runs four or five good routes: A go, a post, a flag, a slant, and a bubble screen... He would help the return game but I think that can be addressed later than the second round... Tom Zibokowski might be a good replacement for Lynch and he is more of a Broncos style returner and he'll be available with our second fourth or even third fifth, unless he really decides to become a boxer.

if we were to waste a secnd rounder on a WR id rather stop that and waste our first rounder on either Kelly or Sweed and just have a monstrous WR duo that would be unstoppable in the RedZone (an area we need definite help in) and then use our 2nd rounder on a DT

He didn't light it up at Tech, who was a run first offense, but even when we needed big pass plays, it seems that we would lean on other receivers when times got tough. He has game speed which would be great in the return game, but I just don't think Eddie would be a good starter opposite of Marshall. He would be another third or fourth receiver that we would have.

As a homer I would love to see him be in Denver, but I would be upset if we spend a second round pick on him.
    He'd be a good slot reciever behind Stokely.....with a 4th rd pick.

Nice job on the pic, but I know very little about computers so I won't be showing it, but a nice job just the same.

For those of you who are enthused of really hoping for getting Eddie Royal, I made a signature picture. You can see a thumbnail of it in my own signature. (I didn't want to have a huge picture in my signature, if any of you are willing to resize it to about the size of the other picture in my signature that'd be great.)

Point being, click on the thumbnail for the link to the actual picture. Feel free to use it in support of Eddy Royal.

Oh, and cut me some slack on the quality, I made it in Microsoft Paint.

A 4.6 40 time isn't exactly tearing it up. I think your point is good either way. We probably need two guys to address these two problems. I like a pick of a receiver in the third.

He didn't catch a lot of passes in Virginia Tech's run-oriented offense, so it's hard to tell if he has the skill to get open and catch the ball in the NFL. In the games in which I watched him, he didn't seem to be much as a receiver, but that was partly due to the run-oriented offense.

Kevin Robinson of Utah State is a better returner, but he played for a weak team, so his receiving skills are hard to judge as well.

Will Franklin of Missouri is 6'1" and ran a very fast 40 at the Combine. He showed he can get open and catch the ball while being the go-to WR in the powerful Missouri offense. His return skills are questionable, and the draftniks haven't jumped on him for some reason, but he displays all the qualities of a solid NFL receiver.

Then there's Glenn Martinez, who has worked his way up for a shot at starting. He's barely adequate as a return guy, but he did get open and catch the ball for the Broncos last season.
