You can already scracth the bottom 3

Thomas DID sign with Dallas already. Been reported many times.
    Dansby IS franschised.
Trotter is going into his 11th season and has been declining dramatically the past 3 years or so on how good he is.

Boiman I really don't know much about. From what I read he seems to be a decent player. But his downfalls are in reacting to the play a bit slow and coverage of TE's. Those are big problems when coming to Denver. We need LB's that can react fast...killed us last year. We also need guys that can cover TE's. We are in the west against Gates and Gonzalez.

Dan Morgan is good when healthy. But who knows if he will still healthy. I thought he was going to the Saints though.

I agree that DJ is one bad a$$ mofo and that he should get a chance to retain his MLB position! However right now the Broncos are only toying with the idea of moving DJ back to the outside… Before this happens I believe this will mean the LB we just signed today (Niko Koutouvides), possibly another free agent like Boss Bailey, or even another guy we might draft will have to prove they can be sufficient at the MLB position under Bob Slowicks defensive scheme.

Now the reason we would move him after he did so good the past year could possibly be associated to what type of defensive scheme Bob Slowick runs. Will the new scheme be the same as Jim Bates scheme, a hybrid of it, or something completely different? As I understand it in the Jim Bates scheme they use bubba DT's in the middle and filter all runners downhill towards the LB's where the MLB is the focus and is "supposed" to get a lot of tackles. Maybe there is a chance that Slowicks defensive scheme does not focus on the MLB position as much as Jim Bates scheme and DJ's talent could be used at his original outside linebacker position (the position he played as a rookie before we brought back Ian Gold from TB). That's just a guess I really don't know...but that is the only reason why I think we should move DJ back to his original position.

**Note – If we end up moving DJ back to OLB the position it will be at the original OLB position that he played at when he was a rookie. I think everyone knows that DJ did great at this position as a rookie! However DJ have to give up this OLB position because we brought back Ian Gold who was not a good fit at the other OLB position. Thus we moved DJ into the other OLB position to accommodate Gold.

      Thx,
      Joe

so do you think that our LB's are gonna look like this?

        WLB- Boss Bailey
        MLB- DJ Williams
SLB- Niko Lou.... or somebody else?

DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THE DEWAYNE ROBERTSON DEAL FELL THROUGH WITH CINCY??

          1. Rocky Boiman
          2. Dan Morgan
          3. Jeremiah Trotter
          4. Karlos Dansby

I dont know that any one of these guys could do better than Boss but i really dont like the idea of us putting all our eggs in one basket...Boss has been a bust since coming into the league, but he is a good pass rusher and has good speed...

Personally i would like to see us go after Dan Morgan, i know that he is coming off an injury that sidelined him for most of the year but i think that because he has starting experience if he can get healthy he could a great addition and all DJ to move back to the outside where he is much more comfortable
Morgan had 6 concussions before 2006. He has missed extensive playing time since then. We already seem to be counting on Ben Hamilton to stay concussion free.

I like your thought of not putting all eggs in to one basket, as long as Morgan isn't one of them. He's already scrambled and overcooked.

IT DIDN'T FALL THROUGH. I WILL TURN MY CAPS OFF NOW..

Sources say the Bengals have acquired Dewayne Robertson from the Jets.

I'm blind yet I have seen enough of this guy to know we don't want him.

Jamie Winborn seems poised to win a starting job over Niko. Probably Webset though.

From what i see online, Landon Johnson is an UFA and hasnt been resigned by the bengals. this guy is young and GOOD. i can respect koutivides or wutever since his rookie year he played 16 games and did pretty good, but after lofi tatupu came on board, he lost his spot...unfortunate.

what about Johnson? he's a beast

The Bengals remain in talks with free agent LB Landon Johnson.
Johnson, Cincinnati's leading tackler the past two seasons, hasn't been highly sought after by other teams. He should be back at a reasonable price.

We would probably only drive the price up on him.

the reason why he got all those tackles was because our line couldnt stop people to save their lives and wat good is it if the running back is always getting to the second level any body could of gotten all those tackles on our team with a little bit of ability cause he was usually the first point of attack

He'll a Bronco by Wednesday night. He was contacted by Green Bay to schedule a visit. He turned them down. As far as I can tell, he is only scheduled to visit Denver. It has been said he and Champ have always wanted to play together. Sign him up....
