  • Terrible Marshall Indications

No one said that this would be Marshalls last year in Denver....I would like for people to stop making terrible indications about what they think....
PTI has already made matters worse by saying Cutler ripped Marshall. Cutler did not rip him he just made it clear that he should be more responsible....I would like for people to stop saying things that are untrue so rumors can be eliminated.
People please use common sense...if you don't have any facts to post...then don't post anything....

Marshall is only guilty of being a dumba$$ at times, he is in the spotlight and unfortunately everything he does is examined under microscope. I'm just hoping he makes a 100% recovery...the severed nerves and tendons from his injury does worry me a little. This is because there is a chance it might impact his play and future progression, lets hope for a full recovery and better luck in general for him!
          Thx,
          Joe

I agree that this should not be Marshall's last year in Denver. However, I do believe that if the guy continues on the same path he is on, them get him out of here. The guy just needs to grow up a little still and he's taking a long time to do it.

I disagree that Cutler didn't rip him. I think that had he stopped after his initial comments then he would have just made it clear that he needed to be more responsible. He continued until the point that it was a little deeper than responsibility.

Just my thoughts on the matter...

he had an accident and was bumped into a t.v. holy crap people are making it seem like the guy just yelled bomb on a plan. Yeah he made a mistake and it will hurt but its not the end of the world by any means and the situation could be about 10000 times worse. This whole thing is getting blown so far out of proportion that it sickens me. It was a freak accident, they happen and we will move on. Everyone take a deep breathe, and relax. Thats better

Bro ... he didn't have an accident, he was wrestling with a family member AND he didn't bump into a TV, he put his friggin arm through it.

NOW I'm not much of a doctor, but the moment I read this I started doing some research and what I came up with is not very pretty.

80% of patients with severed tendon and nerve injuries end up with limited mobility after rehab. I believe it was something like 38% of patients go through 2 years of rehab to reach that "limited" mobility.

Of course these patients probably don't/didn't have the same doctors/surgeons/therapists that Marshall has access to, but I still don't believe the full extent of his injuries have been released as of yet. I would look for some more "deeper" news to come out just before training camp and I have a bad feeling that it's not going to be what everyone wants to hear.

                  just my opinion though!

I wonder how many of these same people think the Broncos should bring Chris Henry in for a look now that he has been cut??

Seriously, as much of a bonehead as Marshall is (and he is a bonehead), I would MUCH prefer him on the team than Henry.

Well, if he keeps getting arrested then you can keep the jersey, but just dye it Bronco orange! It'll still be accurate!

I guess the 15 could stand for how many times he had been arrested

that was one of the most boneheaded posts i've seen. No where in there did i ever say we needed Henry, actually i never said anything about bad behavior being acceptable and wanting any cancer near this organization. I was simply putting marshal's act into perspective. Yes, it was stupid of him but there are far worse things that could have happened. The guy got knocked over into a piece of glass, he didnt harass anyone or beat someone or get pulled over with drugs or weapons, he slipped and fell. He will learn from his own mistake because he prides himself on working out and now he will not be able to. Don't assume things so loosely based on reading because it makes an ass out u and me.

??? I'm not sure how you read the post I made, and actually think you are the one who jumped to make an assumption... I was actually agreeing with you. I used your quote to point out that Marshall had an accident and tried to draw a comparison between him and Chris Henry, someone whose troubles do not seem to be accidents, and who in other threads on these boards people have suggested is worth bringing in for a look. In no way did I think you were saying the Broncos needed Henry.
