According to the collective bargaining agreement:
Section 5 deals with the treatment of practice squad players that are later signed to an NFL club. If a club (club B) signs a player off of the practice squad of another team (club A) then the player must receive 3 weeks salary and be counted towards club B’s active/inactive 53 man roster even if they’re terminated before the 3 week period has past.

If the player is not terminated, but is instead signed to club B’s practice squad, they will still count towards a club’s active/inactive roster until the 3 week period has past. The last couple of sentences, dealing with salary are just there to ensure that a player that is signed to any NFL club is entitled to receive 3 weeks and only 3 weeks salary, regardless of the team or team(s) it comes from.

Maybe it's just the 3 weeks that he is counted.....

So since Dre Moore is an established Practice Squad member...the only way we can get him is if we sign him to our active roster...

That is correct; that is why I suggested moving Nic Clemens to the PS, if possible and I think that would be possible. Not sure that is a good move though because not sure that Dre Moore is or will be better than Nic; but if nobody picks-up Nic from the PS or waiver while moving him than we (Broncos) could(??) be better at least in the long run. I would not take either Peterson (noway) or McKinley off the 53 man roster.
            Good discussion, probably won't happen

I remember some of the draftniks around here touting Moore....but the kid could not play in college, and he can't play in the NFL.

No need to waste any time on him.
Was he the one who was also a problem child with legal issues coming out?

His character red flags were of the underachiever/work ethic type, nothing in the legal area that I can find......
