Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Just like watching a hurricane . . . . I knew it was coming, but just didn't want to see it hit home.
Tatum bell ???? NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, No and did I mention NOOOO
I like Tatum Bell so I really wouldnt be opposed to it.
Thankfully, you don't make the decision.
I really don't get why people are still freaking out about RB. Selvin Young is adequate for the time being, and Andre Hall definitely adds another dimension in short game running (He breakes tackles like crazy).
Pittman, while not someone I'd like to see starting is also capable for the 5-10 carries he'll get in a game. And When Torain gets back, he could easily surpass them all. Next year, we'll also have quick 6 Aldridge back from injury.
We're fine at RB, and don't need to keep begging the team to make a bid for every has-been, never-was, or old fart that gets booted off another team.
The funny thing is people on here actually think Tatum Bell did nothing for the team while he was in Denver.
In 2004 Bells Rookie Season he rushed for 400 yards 75-396 5.5av
(Young in his rookie year 140-729 5.2av)
In 2005 he was our spark and ran for 900+ yards and help take denver to a 13-3 season. Anderson and Bell was a great combo
In 2006 As a full time starter, Tatum only played in 13 games and still had over 1000+ yards. Tatum played hurt which changed his running style causing him to drop the rock 5 times which killed Mikes faith in him as a full time back.
IMO thats some yards on the ground. Dont tell me he was a bum and did nothing when in fact he has put up the same numbers as Young.
Granted, Young and Bell had very similar rookie years, I would expect Young as a full time back to hit 900-1200 for the season barring injury.
Whilst Bell did perform for us as times, he never showed signs of being an effective full time back. He's most effective as a CoP back but he doesn't want to accept that. I enjoyed the Anderson/Bell combo but, let's face it, Bell had the chance to be the feature back and regressed. 5 fumbles. Only two TDs. His YPC weren't bad, mind. But his pass pro is really not great. And one thing that Torain, Young and Hall can do which Bell can't: catch the ball. Bell had terrible receiving numbers.
As I said, his skillset make him an effective change of pace back, but any more than that and I'd be apprehensive.
I would love for the Broncos to bring back Tatum...I honestly think he'll come back better then ever. Why not make a play at him?I'll take him over Selvin and Andre anyday.
