Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

This is just showing you the type of players we need on defense. Guys who can inspire everyone to put in the work necessary to become dominant.
Of course, Ray Lewis' dont come around that often in the draft but if we could find someone like him this year, my God we are looking at a dynasty.
And I agree, I love this kind of attitude. I'm no professional football player, but I try my best to apply this attitude to what I do.
The passion some of these have is incredible, which is why I also enjoy watching their pregame and/or halftime speeches. The only one I could find was a short one by Ed Reed at the U, but Ray Lewis has been known to give some good ones, as has our own Al Wilson. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any.
i wouldnt want ray since he will be on his last legs. however if we draft a guy with half his intensity we will be in great shape

We had a shot at Lance Briggs and went with Koutevides instead. I think if we would have signed Briggs we would be talking about how great our defense is right now. The guy is outplaying Urlacher this year. With DJ Williams and Brigg's versatility, who knows. Oh well.
