    Yes....

But I'd like for you to show me a linebacker who has been moved around to every 3 linebacking positions play and stay consistent......

Dj was a beast his rookie year as seen by his play on the field AND his second in the defensive rookie of the year award voting.

Now switch positions again, and again, and finally back to his regular weakside... I'd say he's played pretty damn good.

I agree that changing the positions is detrimental to his success, and yes it looks like he is having a good year so far.

This whole thread would be unnecessary had we gone after Jon Vilma (and reunited him with DJ) instead of overpaying for Niko Koutouvides. Vilma looks great, Niko looks like a backup STer. I'd rather see Larsen start at Mike over Niko.

I have to agree that Vilma was one of the LBs that would have been a great pick, based on his performance this year. Niko came to town as a ST'er, and not much more, and in that regard we did overpay for him. That's why I got tired of all the cap talk this offseason, as we could have gone after a couple of guys in the mid to high salary range, versus several underachievers making a few $M per year (Niko / Colbert). But it's easy to criticize, and the way Shanny drafted, I have more than forgiven him ...like Shanny gives a hoot what I have to say.

that's your personal opinion, and you're being a homer. He's only in his second year...DJ has proved valuable and consistant for 5 years already, Willis only did it once

So you have no room to say that Willis is better than DJ Williams

I was channel surfing and caught a Baltimore channel that had a radio interview with Suggs. He doesn't seem to think he'll be going anywhere till the end of the season. Then it depends on who the Ravens resign.

                  Yes and no.

Patrick Wilis sure as hell IS a better MLB than DJ Williams was, and all of the emoticons in your post does not change that.

DJ is better suited oin the outside, which is why he is playing the best ball of his career right now.

Basically, they are different players, but don't discount Willis, because you look silly doing so.

Willis is legit anyone who thinks different is wrong. I would rather have willis than DJ jmo

However trading for a MLB is a bad idea this draft is stacked with talent, the broncos could get a very good MLB in the second round, maybe even better than Willis

On another note people have posted his stats which I think are inflated because there is not alot of talent on that defense. It forces him to make alot of plays, but it does show what a very good MLB can do.
if man is 5 and jay cutler is 6 then that must make john elway 7

                      1) 2 firsts for Suggs is too much
                      2) Boss wouldnt be cut, and he isnt as good as Suggs... but Boss + 2 firsts > Suggs.
Agreed on that one. Right now, the only players worth giving up 2 1st rounders. Are Patrick Willis and Ronnie Brown, them 2 are beasts. I would do it for AP too, but he's injury prone. Has been since his college years.

i would do it.suggs is young, fast, tough, from a team defense thats all about stopping the run.he would be an ideal addition.we need to stop the run and he would be a step in that direction.how real is this deal?
