All i'm saying is that sometimes if you get that one piece, you can solidify Championships. Tony Gonzalez and Jay Cutler with Brandon Marshall. Think about it. We trade either Shayne Graham and a draft pick, or trade 2 draft picks. Seriously, we need to consider and convince Shanahan to do it. Remember NEIL SMITH!!! This could be a huge lack of action by Broncos organization if they don't jump on this opportunity. He's only 32. He can catch Cutler's rocket arm. That's my opinion anyway.

NTM, Tony G is used to being the leading receiver or at least the #2 option over in KC. With Marshall, Royal, and Stokely he wouldn't see as many balls thrown to him. Why do you think he wants out of KC now? He's just not getting as many catches now that they have a legit #1 in Bowe and now that they run the ball 60% of the time.
We are in an ideal position with our WRs/TEs because everyone knows their role. Everyone understands that Jay is going to spread the ball around to win and nobody complains about it. Marshall was covered heavily by TB last week so Jay targeted Stokely and Royal more often. There are many plays where Marshall is not the #1 option and he understands it. Tony G would be miserable here (except maybe that we're winning) because he wouldn't be our #1 or #2 option.
This is just another case of a great veteran player getting later on in his career and wanting to go somewhere he has a chance to win a championship before he retires. I wouldn't be surprised if Herm was trying to trade him just for that reason - because he knows KC is far enough away from competing for a Superbowl that it may not happen in Tony's career.
If we were talking about trading for more D-line help or maybe even a new RB that can put us over the top on offense (like some suggest - LJ) then I'd be all for it. I just don't think we need Gonzo at all right now. It would be like trading for Peyton Manning (a HOF vet later in his career) when we already have Cutler. 6 of one, half dozen of the other....

Uhmmm...... lets not. If our offense was the problem on our team, I could see the 'idea' of trading for him. But since the offense is the least of our worries, I'll pass. Not to mention, the Chiefs aren't going to trade to the player that has been the face of their franchise, to Denver.

No sorry, we still need to get younger and the offense really doesnt need improvement.
He's a phenominal player, he just wouldnt help us out all that much.
