  • question about tony gonzalez as a bronco

I know the broncos have a pretty good TE already but how does everybody feel about the broncos maybe pickn up tony gonzales in the off season to help with there offense next season. I know he is getting up there in age but he still has a fews steps left in him and he can catch a ball. tell me how ya feel about this.

Don't know how he helps us at all.

He doesn't block as well as Graham, and he isn't as explosive in the passing game as Scheffler.

I don't see any impact from him on our offense with the personnel we already have.

Nope, Gonzalez is nearing the end of his career....he doesn't offer the blocking that D-Graham does or the pass catching and speed that Scheffler does.....pass

i highly doubt that would happen. Im sure he will want an insane amount of money, money that can be used elsewhere. I'm comfortable with what we got. I would like to see a top rated TE out of the draft in a few years, though.
I hate the Defenseless Receiver rule and the fines. Posted since '07. 2011 rule addition :nono: backhand a fool!

Gonzalez wants to go to a championship caliber team.... And that is simply not the Denver Broncos.

I find this kinda funny considering that Gonzo is still has been the best recieving
TE in the league so far this year...

That actually might be most redundant thing I've ever read on here.

He isnt a FA at the end of the year, you would have to trade with KC to get him, and 2 teams did offer
2nd rounders for him earlier in the year. He has only played better since then.

I can hope that is what he meant then. But I still no reason for anyone but
Dallas and Washington to say that they wouldnt sign Gonzo if he was a FA.
