Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Well, I just heard on NFLN that Fred Taylor isn't expecting to be in Jacksonville next year. So I figuer I would post the obligitory "Should we pursue Fred Taylor" thread.
I realize he's older than dirt, but he seems to have found the fountain of youth in Maurice Jones-Drew.
Would he be a savy vet to help our young guys, or just another washed up has been in Denver?

I'm confused. Exactly how has Fred Taylor found the fountain of youth in MJ Drew? Taylor is better then anyone else we have right now, but he is HURT just as much too isn't he?

That was before Jones Drew came to town. He splits the carries now, and seems to run stronger and get injured less. Which is why I said MJD was his fountain of youth.
I would do anything for fred taylor or chester taylor. Sure they are older, but with our one cut and go system they would take less of a pounding and could give us 3 good years of running the ball.
I think he meant "fountain of youth" by saying fred was ok splitting time with drew cause he saw how special of a back he was and him being so young, he is the future of the team. However, it seemed to motivate fred, and he runs hard when hes in the game and I think he or chester would be a beautiful fit for our offense...
If we have a vet at RB, we'll once again have a dominant running game, which will open up the play action and make us less predictable. It'll help our our running game as much as the pass game. I would love to see fred or chester taylor in a broncos uniform next year.
