Cushing has 66 stops, 10 tackles for loss, 2-1/2 sacks, with an interception, a forced fumble and six pass breakups for a dominant defense that has allowed only 11 touchdowns and has limited opponents to 206.3 yards per game.

But it's Cushing's reckless style that has blown away his coaches and teammates. "He only has one speed," USC linebacker coach Ken Norton Jr. said. "With him, you're going to take the good with the bad. He's going to knock you out and then he's going to hurt himself trying to knock you out."

USC junior All-American safety Taylor Mays shares a downtown apartment with Cushing and watched in awe one day when Cushing lifted up the back of his car in the parking lot. "I had never seen anyone do that before," he said.

If Boss is healthy he can play MIKE. He's played MIKE in a game or two this season and said he wouldn't mind playing the position at the next level. His tenacity and intelligence make him a very special player.

If some how Cush dropped into the second round from other teams grabbing players at different positions... He will get picked pretty quick and atleast 7 teams before us most likely would select him do to need at OLB.

Probably the same thing that happened last year with Curtis Lofton. Cushing might fall out of the first... but he probably wont slip 12 picks to us in the second...

BUT, DEN could always JUMP up a few spots (if we wanted). We have the ammo.

MIKE is our biggest weakness and Cushing may be projected better at MIKE than SAM. Pete has said similar things in the past. It'd be nice to leave DJ alone and Boss is better than Webster/Larsen/Niko.

Mentally impaired boy. Denver needs a MIKE backer, not a SAM backer. SAM backers are the least important of all defensive players. Therefore: MLB > SLB.

Thus many ponder if he could move to MIKE at the next level.

I heard Boss was out of football for good after his last injury. Not sure whether it's fact or just another damn rumor.
