Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

For those of you that don't know I am a huge Husker fan. The Huskers play Clemson in the Gator Bowl tommarow, and I think everyone should take a chance to flip it over there and watch the pride and joy of our state, our defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh. This guy can flat out play. He'll pry be a high pick, but I think it would be cool to see him play for the Broncos.
I watched the game today and Suh was an absolute beast. That guy, along with Ty Steinkuhler were hands down the 2 best players on that field today. They were the main reasons the Huskers won.
Suh constantly was in the backfield disrupting plays even when being double teamed. I'm a diehard Husker fan and this isn't being biased. He is a stud.

Funny, I thought the main reason would have been the Clemson QB throwing all those untimely picks
I did post about Ndamukong Suh in the "Bowl Game" thread. They guy would be an excellent NFL'er in my opinion. (coming from a Buff fan )
He's the best player on our team imo, and he's the best for the draft. He'd be a fine Bronco.

Not a husker fan, but seen plenty of him this yr, all I can say is the kid is def an impact player at the next level. Has a motor that never stops running and would be a great addition if he were to somehow land in the mile high city.

Anyone watching the Nebraska/Texas game? Suh is absolutely dominating the line. If the bears lose enough games, he might fall to us.
...fall to us? The Bears would have to lose out and then we'd still have to trade a few spots up. He was already a top prospect, I think he's cementing his spot in the top three tonight.

Agreed. We would need the worst teams to get a bit hot, and the Bears to be ice ice cold to end the year to have a shot at the guy.

I'm working the board for the radio station here in DALLAS broadcasting the UT game. UT announcers are going bonkers:
"He's making every tackle"
"When do you see a DL lead a team in tackles"
"He should be a Heisman candidate"
"Folks, you want to know who makes the play just listen to the crowd, b/c it's SUH."
This dude is a STUD. Like Ngata. If CHI goes 6-10.... is there hope we get him? Well, let's just root for St. Louis to win this week and for ARI to beat Min (and for DAL to beat NYG).
It would help if MIN has t play for 1st round BYE (they play CHI Week-16).
I've wathced NU a couple oftimes this year, but this is the first time I've really focused on Suh. I'm beginning to think if a GM has a chance to take Suh first over all and doesn't do it he should be fired. The Lions will probably pick first, and the really need help on both lines, but they can't take one of this year's o-linemen that high. I suppose Cleveland might also get that pick, which would make things interesting.
Suh reminds me of Darrel Russel who played in the nineties at USC. That kind of size, strength, and quickness doesn't come along very often.
If I were Cleveland I wouldn't care if I already had Shaun Rogers, I would draft Suh and build a dominant D with a ball control offense. You just can't pass on a player like Suh unless another team is willing to trade the farm. He is truly special.
