I personally think that they should draft 4 moreno cause if we get him he would complete the offense that shanny put 2gether and it would take a whole lot of weight on jay cutlers shoulders and he will be a future hall of famer in the broncos running attack and they can get a defensive guy like ron brace or tyson jackson in the second round so it's a win win

i would love to see moreno here because im a uga-bronco fan i watch all the bulldogs games and the broncos games but imo we need a rb like knowshon that give us more time of posession and time to the defense to recover the breath and in all the rest of the draft/FA we can go to the D well thats just my opinion

Yes I was refering to the title. Its called a joke.

And to go into a more in depth discussion on the premise, which you seem to want, I would ask if you watched any of the games last season.

If you did, you would have noticed 2 things, our defense is God awful, and our RB's were getting hurt worse than a cake in the middle of a room full of fat people.

So why should we spend a 1st round pick on a RB, a position that has a fairly high probability of inury, see Mendenhal, McFadden, and Jones last year(First round RB last year), plus all our RB's, and the fact that despite all this, our running game still had a great YPA I believe it was a mid to high 4. something.

Now our defense is probably at its worst in a 15 year span, and you want to instead use our 1st rounder on our 2nd ranked offense?

Please explain why we NEED to draft Knowshon, or any other RB in the first for that matter, I'm curious. With Talent like Maualuga, Laurenitas, Raji, Maybin, and Brown, great prospects if we switch to a 3-4, I dont see how we can possibly go RB.

Exactly what he said. With that much defensive talent on the board at #12, there is nothing anyone can say that would persuade me to draft a RB in that position. RB should not be addressed until the late rounds, maybe with a Glenn Coffee or Gartrell Johnson type. KNOWshon at #12 make NO sense

Okay I understand that, I do not disagree that at some point we will need to get Jay a legit RB who can take the pressure off him like Portis and Davis.

The point I'm arguing is that at this point we need some serious talent infusion on defense, while, even though we dont have a feature back, our running game has still been productive.

Lets fix the D first, then look to adding a feature RB.

It wouldn't surprise me either. But i do agree with Cutler'stheman, I think we have way too many holes on defense to spend our first pick on a position that isn't a TOP need.

I do agree we will need to draft a franchise RB for Jay, but let's save that for a year or two when we have a lot less needs.
