    Mock Offseason
alrighty i think the broncos should make a busy offseason. they really need to make some FA accuquistions and not pick washed up players like years passed.

FA they should attempt to get
    1. terrell suggs-afc championship game enough said. dominate player
2.gabe watson-gives us a proven NT so we dont have to draft one and hope to god hes good
3.derrick ward-brings some stability to the broncos running game that has been missing the last few years. i like him a peyton hillis getting the ball.
4.eugene wilson(former patriot and texan) gives us a playmaker at safety
5.James sanders(former patriot) makes plays. get one or the other
6.clark haggans- im not sure if hes a free agent but if he is he brings veteran leadership for a 3-4 and i think he can still play pretty well

    Trades
trade dumervil and moss to a team for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. then use that pick and there 2nd round one already to trade into the later first round.

    Draft
1.Rey Maualuga-provides an attitude to this defense at MLB thats been missing for sometimes since al wilson left
1.Clint Sintim- explosive plays can play in either 4-3 or 3-4
3.tyson jackson-solid 3-4 end to help build around
    4. we gave up for watson
i havent looked up or know enough yet about these lata rounds
this would be a dream offseason ha

You're right on about a few things, but i think kinda off the mark on a few as well. I'm 100% OK with Suggs, but with respect to Watson, do we know what round draft pick he's going to cost for compensation to Arizona? If it is a 4th rounder or so i'd probably be okay with it, anything higher than that might be too much of a price.

As far as the safeties go, we could probably do better than Wilson and Sanders with guys like Dawan Landry or Jim Leonhard from the Ravens or Yeremiah Bell from the Dolphins.

I'm not sure anyone is going to wanna trade a 2nd or 3rd rd pick for an unproven pass rusher and an undersized 3rd down pass rusher.

    1st pick: Rey Maualuga

    2nd pick: Michael Chung

Suggs starts at one side, with possibly Moss/Woodyard/Dumevil whoever earns the other OLB position. Then go with Maualuga (if we draft him) and DJ Williams (assuming he'll move inside) to make up the linebacking core.

Nope, no Albert Haynesworth, he's more of your 4-3 DT, and no Peppers.

Peppers did play a little OLB in college at UNC, and is a gifted athlete no doubt. Personally, I'm against dumping a truckload of money on either of these guys when we have SO many gaps everywhere in the defense. If we had a good LB core and DB's, I would have no problem investing in either of these guys. That's not the case though, and we need help everywhere. I think it's better to distribute the money that either one would cost to 2 or 3 guys that can have an impact instantly.
