  • top 15 1st round rookie yearly performances w/ a few dissapointments

    1. matt ryan- come on a rookie qb making the playoffs, doesnt happen very often

    2. ryan clady-solid all season only allowing .5 sacks all year

    3. jerod mayo- defensive ROY, not much more needed to say

4.joe flacco- another rookie making the playoffs, did what was needed to win

    5. chris johnson- made explosive plays all year which helped the titans to
    finish with the best record

6.FELIX JONES(PRE INJURY)-man was it fun to watch him, pure playmaker

7.dustin keller-had a strong finish during the fall of the jets

8.jake long- helped miami make one of the best turnarounds in history

    9. jonathan stewart- helped form smash-n-dash and contributed to the panthers season success

10.Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie- very strong finish to the season, really helped since becoming a starter

11.kenny phillips- since becoming starter he led his team in tackles

12.sedrick ellis- had a good season for a team that wasn't known for defense

    13. leodis mckelvin- made many plays for the bills all year, on defense and special teams

14.chris long- one of very very few bright spots on st louis's defense, better days will becoming soon for him

15.jeff otah- played very solid when healthy, made huge alleys for smash-n-dash

top 3 rookie 1st round dissapointments

    1. vernon gholston- people expected so much and well, he did nothing but cash his check. i hope for him to at least be included on defense next year, great potential but did 0 as a rookie:brick:

2.rashard mendenhall- maybe a better year next year, some people expected him to maybe even start because of parker's injury.

3.derrick harvey- the last rookie to sign better be good, nope not here he did not as much as expected. the jags gave up alot to get him and so far it just hasnt payed off:2cents:

McFadden was a disappointment. The 4th overall pick, 1st running back taken, and he had a mediocre season.

Yeah, but he has been injured alot this season.

1 - Matt Ryan - I agree, although I was dissapointed that he bombed in the playoffs

                2. ryan clady-Agreed, Top 5 LT in the league

                3. jerod mayo- Done well, I would put Chris Johnson here as he made a HUGE difference to the Titans and you could see how great his impact was when he was injured mostly for the 2nd half of the ravens p/off game.

4.joe flacco- Done pretty well but relied upon that D alot, a little high for me, I would have J.Stewart here, prolific runner with Carolina

                5. chris johnson- My #3, At # 5, I would have DOM C/MARTIE, played better and better as the season went on and gave Arizona a true #1 CB which has proven to be invaluable.

6.FELIX JONES(PRE INJURY)-Great to watch but injured pretty early on, I would go for Mayo, terrific season in the pats 3-4

7.dustin keller-Came on well but I would put Flacco here, he done pretty well

8.jake long- Agreed, a solid job, made mistakes early on but improved with time

                9. jonathan stewart- A little low, Kenny Philips should be here, he looks like a very good S for the Giants

10.Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie- A little low, I would put McKelvin here, did'nt play like a rookie and made alot of big plays for the Bills

                Good job though
