Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Prospect #9637- Won't wow anyone with physical attributes but a very competitive guy, studies the game, and has great strength for his size. Hands are phenominal, seems to have a great work ethic if given proper motivation , a few nagging injuries, but overall seems to fit the mold of a slot receiver. Will come in and act like a veteran.
*Rubs hands*
Hows that look Can? Ready to get taken in the 2nd or 3rd round
Nailed it!!!!!
(you know...have to spread around b4 I get you back)
Prospect #9637 -
- About 5'8" tall (when he was younger) and 160 lbs.
- Not much speed (since arthritis took over his left ankle).
- Good hands (when it comes to negotiating meals)
- Hair changing colour.
- IQ slipping (not far to fall).
- Body not reacting well to the various broken bones (including a Joe Theisman type of broken leg) and cartilage damage suffered many years ago....which he never stops boasting about with the guys
- Stiffness in all body parts (don't go there!).
- Hair sometimes hurts.
- Employs bi focals (or shall we say...."progressive lens"...as if there's anything progressive about it!!!)
- Hearing loss (wife claims he always had that ailment)
- Wrinkling (or shall we say...."visible signs of wisdom")
- In fact, surprisingly strong for an old fart (motivated by young females at University gym...otherwise...not a chance)
And that was the good news.....
BTW.....Guess the prospect.....hint: writes too many threads / talks too much about being Canadian / seldom of interest!!!!
Watch the master go to work...

Not sure where you are getting these scouting reports, or if this is totally a fictional experiment. But here we go....My guess is, is that we already have these players on our roster...
Your sort of getting to the essence of what I was getting at, let me explain.
I chose 5 LB prospects who we're graded at a mid round level or better. Many of you got these close or graded a bit above or below.
Badmofobroncos got closest in my eye's.
However, prospect #3, is no prospect himself. That is me. Those are my measurables and that scouting report is technically not false, it just doesnt tell the complete truth. The truth is I've never played organized football in my life, but I love playing pick up games and have been known to give several people concussions , different story for a different time.
Here are the actual prospects, by name, then I'll wrap it up with why I actually did this.
Prospect#1- Worrell Williams, actual projection (4th-5th)
Prospect #2- Clint Stintim, actual projection (1st-2nd)
Prospect #3- Yours Truly , actual projection (Undrafted)
Prospect #4- Everrett Brown, actual projection (Top 15)
Prospect #5- James Laurenitas, actual projection (Late 1st)
Prospect #6- Zack Follet, Actual projection (3rd round)
Okay, I am very flattered that several of you graded me higher than James Laurenitas, and also one of you gave me a first round grade
Now notice through careful choice of words I made myself seem part of this class while I was never technically lying?
This is the danger of scouting reports, on all of these I gave pretty rave reviews and noted the positives, but I guarentee that I could have taken this same list, wrote up different scouting reports that we're still true and factual, focusing on the negative aspects of a players game, and I would see a severe dip in the projections.
This is the lesson, everyone is consumed with the scouting report, and while they can be useful, don't hold them as the standard of truth.
(Love these new smileys!!!)
EDIT: You could have checked my sig and saw my weight and put 2 and 2 together as well.

I seem to think that most people have already pre set conclusions when it comes to looking at different prospects, based soley on their name and draft hype they receive.
I am going to conduct a simple, small experiment that will find out how intuitive your draft analysis skills really are.
Basically I am going to list several prospects, WITHOUT GIVING NAMES, and write up a small scouting report, to go along with their measurables. From this I would like to hear your draft grade on each one that I list. That is what round you think they would fall into.
Here they are, I will give this one hint, they are all guys who project to LB's either inside or outside.
Prospect #1- 6'2 249- A real solid guy with good bulk, decent cover skills and athleticism for his size. Fairly productive college career. Not the fastest 40 out there but a solid tackler. #5
Prospect #2- 6'3 254- Runs a pretty good 40 time for his size and has great pass rush skills. Real productive with tons of impact plays. Can deliver a big hit as well. #2
Prospect #3- 6'5 248- A lot of potential, tall and rangy. Fairly good speed for his size, but won't wow anyone. Can lay the big hit and is a ferocious competitor. His production isnt up to where other prospects are though. #3
Prospect #4- 6'4 250- A great physical specimen who can get after the QB and blow plays up in the backfield. A true playmaker. #1
Prospect #5- 6'3 243- A smart player with good instincts, but isnt the greatest physical specimen. Great production through college, a high motor guy with a good work ethic. #4
Prospect #6- 6'1 231- Slightly undersized as a LB but a tough competitor with great instincts. Wont be able to take on too many blockers at the next level but his pass cover skills are a great asset. #6
Okay based on that, I would like you all to give each prospect a grade,
Just list the prospect number and the round you feel they should be drafted in. Do it for all six and list them in order of their projected round.
Ex.
Prospect #2- 3rd
etc etc
Once enough people have replied I will reveal each of the prospects name.

Potential usually gets drafted higher than production. Getting to the QB is a premium, so I had 2 of the 6 in the first. You should also include level of competition. The others were harder, but we will see.
