Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

i dunno, but he deserves another shot. Im an animal lover, and what he did was unacceptable. But he was made an example of and his punishment was too harsh.
The men charged with him (who were more involved in the crime than Vick was) were all released after 8 months maximum, while vick was stuck with a 24 (or 26?) month sentence.
I would much rather have him on my team than Pacman, and pacman got 3 or 4 "2nd chances".
In all honesty i wouldnt mind Vick on the broncos as a back up/wild cat player, i believe he will play in the NFL again (assuming he stayed in decent shape)
i know.
he'll probably play in the eupropean football league.
i think heard that along time ago,
i was under the impression they were canceling nfl europe. besides, i know vick might kinda suck at first, but come on michael vick in europe or canada would just be unfair.
disclaimer: if the above post appears to contain outrageously illogical content, ITS PROBABLY SARCASM
I agree what he did was unacceptable, but its not up to us judge him anymore. He was punished, and served his time.
I personally think teams are going to be falling over themselves to sign him.
Sorry but they should have Uthinized him...I do not believe he deserves a second chance; doing drugs and other things can be overlooked, even if he had a gun on him. But murder is murder whether or not it was an animal or human, which really makes no difference since we areselves are still animals according to biology. You can be an animal lover, or not like them...I do not care, but what he did in my book is completely wrong and he should be held accountable and not rewarded. If the law is not willing to do it, the NFL should.

While I agree that what he did was despicable, he was punished in a court of law in accordance with the laws of the cities, counties, states and country the offenses were recorded in. He was arrested, arraigned, sentenced, and served his time. By standards of the law, he has adequately satisfied his crimes.
As far as the NFL goes, he was suspended by the league and must be reinstated before he is able to interact with any team in the league.

little hypocritical dont ya think?
i believe in second chances, and he deserves one. like i said he was unfairly punished and made an example of.
what adam jones did left a man paralyzed and may have (probably) put a hit on someones life, yet he has been given many chances, and been reinstated after every incident.

Did I say I like Adam Jones? No...did I say he deserved a chance? Not that I remember, and when there was talk of bringing him to Denver I was against it. The problem is that these idiots get more free reign because of their status then your every day citizen. If Michael Vick was not a NFL football player, I bet you his arse would have served far more then what he did...enough is enough, they are not 'gods' but mere men who can play a sport, it gives you no right to rape, kill, rob or commit any other crime, and yet it happens more often then we care to admit. We as fans should have learned from our past, particularly us in Denver with the Williams' tragedy...
That is my opinion, and I really do not care if others agree with me...plus atop all that, I see some have remorse for their actions and I tend to see them in a different light. But those who have no remorse and look at it like a flea on their arses instead of their own actions...screw em'!

i agree with your post...and i was just using jones as an example of someone worse than vick that has gotten numerous "second chances"
but if vick wasnt an nfl player his punishment would have been far less, not more. He was made an example of and was punished unfairly.
the other people charged with him (who had a greater involvement in the actual crime itself) were all released in under 8 months while vick served a 2 year sentence.
and i never said i wanted him on the broncos, but i said he deserves a second chance in the nfl, and IF his legal troubles are behind him i would not mind seeing him in orange and blue
