    Official Rules and Regulations

    What about free agency?
    • There will be no free agency period, it'll be far too complicated. If you want to add players; feel free to trade them. Acquire more picks and players via trades to fill the needs your team is looking for!
    • The players that contracts are up are returned to the there as if they all signed a 1 year contact extension (make sense?)

    Rules on Trading
    • Players and picks are allowed to be traded; however keep trade proposals realistic. Any trade proposals need to be sent to D.J.55 (myself) to be decided on.
    • Myself along with other members will decide on the trades. A council of five people will be voting. I will choose five people who I can trust and have experience with the mock drafts in the past. A vote needs 3/5 votes to pass. Voters on the council who are involved in trades must abstain from voting.
    • GM's can only be involved on one proposal at a time. Please, do not try and do multiple trades at once.
    • No three-way trades. When trade proposals are sent, both agreeing parties must send me PM's.

    Rules on Picks
    • When you are on the clock you will have three hours to make your selections. If you will not be there at the time of your selection, send me a board of your top five players you'd like to pick. We want this draft to go fast, so cooperation is appreciated.
    • If you miss your pick (three hours are up) everyone behind you is fair game to draft in the correct order. You can make your pick at any time; but cannot take players already chosen after your missed selection if they have been selected by those behind you.
    • The clock stops at 12:00 PM EST; and will start up at 10:00 AM EST the following morning. Picks can be made during this time, but teams and GM's will not be penalized for inactivity during this period.
    • Picks must be made in this format: The Detroit Lions select: Player, Position -- University
    • Please do not post pictures, as we have some members who are still on dial-up.
    • If you pick before your scheduled time, you will be penalized five draft spots; and must wait until that time to select. This is to uphold integrity and fairness.

    Rules on Posting
    • Keep on topic in each of the threads. Selection thread is for selection, this thread is for discussion regarding those selections, and trade talk. Please keep on topic. It will alleviate immoderation.

D.J., it would probably do well to also post the picks the teams have in all rounds, especially before trades begin. If you do not mind compiling the list for us...

    Thanks, - Cane

no worries, some things will be intersting...the jets are suppose to get a 1st rd pick if vilma re-signs with the saints, DJ55 said all FA go back to there team for a year???? get the point...lol

also the foxworth deal for denver is conditional on re-signing. Since foxworth goes back to atlanta for the year in a 1 year contract does that mean denver gets a sixth instead of a seventh....lol

Ok so that basicly means the list you provided is not final yet? I can forget about my 6th round pick then?

lol it is final there are just a couple small things that need to be worked out. my thought is that conditional picks should stay at there original offered location to make it easy across the board, which means you wouldnt lose a sixth you would lose the original 7th rd pick offered to the broncos for sake of this Game.....

However the end decision falls with DJ 55 for this call which is why it will be important. to keep checking the threads dealing with this game even if it means alot of reading.....

All conditional picks will stay at there original offered location. So Atlanta you will lose only a 7th not a 6th.

                        Of course it's not Official!

Arizona Cardinals will have the last pick in each round!

The Trade deadline will probably be a week after the combine. I want all of us to be able to evaluate players. Also it allows more time for trades. The day after the week for the combine will be the day the Lions are on the clock.

                            Need clarification on trade rules.

for example is it possible for

                            scenario A

                            pick
                            player

                            for

                            pick

                            or

                            pick
                            player

                            for

                            pick
                            player

                            ==================

Is there a certain type of trade other than 3way you will not allow?

You are allowed to do a player/pick for pick or player. And you are also allowed to do pick/player for pick/player. Just like in real life. I cant think of any other trade that I wouldnt allow, but if I come across one I'll be sure to post it.
