  • where will this monster go

Usc's DT Moala I don't know much stats but watching him in senior bowl practices seems like this kid is a monster on the line.
    Where's he predicted?

I would say the 2nd round. He has major upside as a 3-4 end, or a 4-3 one-gap guy.

Most likely a mid-2nd rounder. I could see him falling into the 3rd round possibly. He does have major upside, it's just a matter of him reaching his potential. A lot of people prior to the beginning of the past season had him as a 2009 NFL draft top 10. Obviously he has slipped a good bit.

        K. Do you know what he's best at? The run the pass. And why has he slipped so much?

im not a big fan of his size. 6-4, 303.... i know size isn't everything, but i would preferr him to be a tad bit shorter and about 30 pounds heavier.

Why would you ever want a guy to be shorter? Ever? That makes zero sense.

He's appx. 6'5", 295 lbs right now. He can probably put on weight rather easily, but it doesn't matter as long as he can be effective.

Shorter guys who are squatty have an easier time getting lower on OLinemen, being able to stand them up and get them off balance.

He has very long arms and is able to use leverage to get good penetration. I would LOVE him as a 3-4 end, we just don't have enough picks....

I like him as well he's relentless yet plays fairly smart. My next question is where is he drafted higher as an end or a dt?

                    Late 2nd or more likely early-mid 3rd. He's a 3-4 DE.

yeah, what denverelentless said, lower center of gravity, can push up on taller olinemen for more leverage.

if you look at some of the best NTs in the league, vince wilfork (6-2, 325) and casey hampton (6-1, 325) then they are obviously one the shorter side as far as linemen go. yes, kris jenkins and jamal williams are slightly taller at 6-3 and 6-4, but they make up for it by weighing like 350 pounds or something.

Not sure about that MUG, though I agree that he is a 3-4 Defensive End, next to Tyson Jackson he will probably the second or third top end for the scheme. But I say he goes late second at the latest.
