  • Chris Canty

He is fairly young, and with our transition to 3-4 would be an excellent pick up.

What type of contract will he receive in the open market?

    or

How much would Denver have to pay him to play for the Broncos?

Just a shot in the dark here, but I'm guessing he'll want 5 years and around 30 - 35 million. Just a guess though!

I'd love for us to get Canty, it would go a long way in addressing another glaring hole in the 3-4 front 7 (DE) and I agree he will probably be in the 5 yr / 35+ mil range. But you know you are getting a polished, experienced, and young player. Add Atogwe or Jones/Phillips/Landry in one of the safety positions and possibly Jabari Greer and I would be convinced our D is instantly improved.

I love this move, but not a 7 mil per. That is too much money. We need to be smart about how we build the D, and spending 7 mil on a DE isnt going to help us in the long run. I prefer getting a couple guys in the 3 mil range, and splurge in the middle (DT and S)
Thanx Blondie79 for the sweet Sig....Love it and I will rock it with pridesigpic
