Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Vince Oghobaase DT out of Duke he is 6-6 310 pounds. he had An All-ACC honorable mention, and collected 51 tackles, nine TFL and six sacks as a junior. He looks like he may be good and I got denver drafting him in the third round in my mock draft :salute!:
Considering he is going back to school, I would say you wasted a third rounder

Gotta love the rooks =)
Murtha at DE is a very interesting idea. Most guys that throw up those types of numbers go in the 6th Round range. He looked stiff as an OT, but would be one hell of a pulling OG. I think that's more likely then 3-4 DE, though I like that idea too.
You know, we signed a guy the Dolphins waived, McChesney or something, that they tried to convert from NT to OG. I wonder if we are going to try and convert him back. I would assume so. I know this is old news, but this kind of reminded me of him.
i dont think he stays UDFA any more i think he actually will be a late 5th rd-mid 6th rd pick.....telling you the truth though we may end up with 2 sixth rd picks if fox resigns with atlanta, so i might be down grabbing him with a sixth rd pick.....he does show some skills neccessary for the switch.
I actually have been interested in chris clemons from clemson he is reported to have put on some nice weight and could be a great project SS/LB box type player.....in the sixth rd...i am waiting for official weigh in results though.....but he was a great SS at clemson
I agree! Clemons is a tough player, I would love to draft him in the later rounds.
Unbelievable hands, decent speed (4.77 40), and good size (6-5, 238). Give him some time to work on his blocking and I think he can flourish. He reminds me of Eddie Mac, just seems to catch everything, and very athletic for his size. Be interesting to see where he get's slotted in the days leading up to the draft. Could be a steal for someone.
What about WR Darrius Heyward-Bey? 6'2" a 40 time of 4.30 a vert of 38.5 and not a bad 20 shuttle of 4.18. Not sure what round he might go in but if it's a second day pick he has a lot of the athletic ability but it sounds like he needs some work on his hands and stuff.

Bey was a late 1st, early 2nd before the Combine. He's probably in the late 1st now. He's battling Harvin and Nicks to be that 3rd WR taken that probably goes to Chicago at #16 Overall. Then you have to assume Tennessee takes a WR at the end of the 1st as well.
agreed..I have the Broncos taking Hamlin in the 3rd in my mock
if he runs a 4.48 he will go in the second rd.....he is slated to run a 4.51 that was when he weighed 208.....if he runs a 4.48 at 218 Lbs he is a second rd lock.
he was ripped though hopefully it translates well because he could be prime pickings at 48 for us....i like him better than moore, chung, johnson or smith for the 3-4 and SS is a huge need for us as barrett is to much of a headhunter to play that effectively....FA should net us 2 of sean jones, mike brown, jame sanders etc....but we need a beastly SS and he is it.
i am sold on Larry english or tyson jackson at pick 12 and Michael Hamlin at Pick 48.....people can call me way off base all they want and i probally will be off on english and jackson, but not hamlin....he has always been my favorite safety, along with sherod martin...(who also showed up ripped and ten lbs heavier than he was at the senior bowl.....)
ouch I did not know that lol....well I switched it...maybe terrance Talor?
"Dude, I know what you mean, and I feel your frustration. Everybody only reads what they want to read. If you sound a bit negative about the team or a player, you will immediatley be flamed. They tend to get caught up on the most trivial bs ever
It's a huge part of the culture of this board you just have to learn how to deal with. You can go 5-6 pages explaining to these people"
