Maybe to give D.J. company and so we have two sets of brothers on the team?
Seems like he's be good for special teams and depth I suppose.

Zach Follet is a much better player from the same CAL team.
As an under-rated MLB, I am curious about the Florida Atlantic kid, Frantz...does anyone know how he tested?

Follet was the class of that Cal defense hands down the best player on it, but he is also undersized and raw but should be a real good value pick in round 3 or 4.

A guy that is on the rise right now, that is actually appearing to still be a 4th round pick is Jasper Brinkley. He's got the size (6'2" 252), speed (4.65-4.7) and power (27 reps) to be a great ILB next to DJ. He's a beast against the run. His only knock was his knee injury, and after his near-top performances in the 40 and vertical jump I think we can rest assured he's recovered. He's only going to get better because he undoubtedly is still regaining confidence in the knee, and he very well could return to the form he was at in 2007 when he was a 3-down ILB and a 1st round talent. Just keep him in mind, I'm sold on Brinkley.sigpic

I am happy to see that he has done well for himself and I would take him with our 3rd or 4th rounder without any issues.sigpic

Maualuga has done nothing to impress me as of late, same with Laurinaitis, both whom I thought would really be good workout warriors (besides maybe Laurinaitis in the bench reps capacity) but they failed to do so.
