I like the F.A. signings. They would all be great additions to our team and would help out alot. The draft also is freaking awesome too. The Matthews thing wont happen and I know where your going with it so its all good, and you had doubts about it too which is why you put up another guy behind him. Ian Johnson would also be an awesome pick. Great value. Colt would be one of the best UDFA out there because of his ability to be a ball hawk and make plays. Dont let the one guy get to you. I dont care if every pick was a USC player. If your in need of a good defense or just good players in general why dont you look for a team with some of the best players on it? Makes sense to me. :salute!:

Although I dont really like USC, drafting defensive players from the best defense in college football (no matter what the team) makes sense to me.

I dont think Matthews will fall to the 2nd round though. Hes getting really popular, really fast. Methinks if we wanted Cushing and Matthews, we'd have to draft Cushing with our 12th and then trade back into the 1st round to pick up Clay.

I'd love to have em both as I think they would immediately help our LB corps. Then we could finally have some good players with long hair on our team (ive got long hair. We Long Hairs have got to stick together. . but i hope you all know thats not the only reason id want to draft them. lol).

I like the Ian Johnson pick too. The dude is good, and if he could play for us like he did his soph year he could be amazing. But I think his stock might rise after how well he did at the combine so i dont know if he'd be there in the 5th.

Lol there is a reason this is called "The ULTIMATE Mock Draft + Offseason." This is what would happen ideally. It is possible we could get all these guys, but it would be very hard to do. Just remember, it can be done haha Even if we got just half of them it'd be a good deal.

I still see no problem with drafting 3-4 players from one college. Plus it was not on purpose, it just happened and I went with it.

I like the FA & trades, but don't expect to land all of those guys. Jones, Bartell, & Watson are guys I would love for us to pickup. :salute!:


As for the draft, I don't like it that much. I agree with others about drafting the four players from USC. :2cents:

If this ever happened i freaking go crazy. Cushing, Clay, ian and moore would be a better draft then last year. And if we even ever a couple of those FA id be happy..

Already admitted I was wrong about Wilson, had Connor Barwin as a second option to Matthews from the get go (LEARN TO READ), and there's nothing wrong with drafting players from the same college if they're quality players (considering they made up the BEST college defense in the nation and that this would allow our lockerroom to have instant chemistry I see no problem with it).

I doubt Cushing falls to 12, and I honestly don't see a way in heck that Mathews falls to us that far down into the 2nd. Would be great if things worked out that way though

Eh I think Cushing at 12 is pretty realistic at this point. Some think it's way too high, you're actually the 1st I've heard saying he won't make it that far.

As for Matthews that's why I put Connor Barwin as a second option. Either would be a great pick for us IMO. I'm hoping one of them would be available there.

well they overpaid him last year. gave him a 5 year 30 million contract. Last year he had 129 tackles 4 pass deflections and 2 int's and a saftey.

Gibril Wilson it is then. I'll add him to my FA signings ASAP. This would give Barrett a nice mentor and time to develop as well.
